Ok I searched around and I might have just confused myself with a really simple thing so forgive me I've haven't really selpt the last few days trying to get my car working again.

This is just one of the many things that I'm trying to figure out with my car this past weekend...

Now my car has been swapped with a RB25DET Ser. 1 nothing fancy just a neo turbo, Apexi PFC, Blitz BC, HKS TT, Apexi N1 pro, everything else basically stock.

I got a used Koyo radiatorfor a KA/ RB a few week ago and it fits perfectly into my car with no problems except one...

I need to know what to do with this temp sensor and is there an obvisous solution that I'm just missing?

I've looked at other radiators and I don't see this sensor for it and I'm wondering if it is an R33 thing and I need to convert it or get a adaptor of some kind.

Here are the pics:

I didn't get a chance to measure it today but I found something like this :http://www.ebay.com/itm/38mm-Water-temp-Sensor-Adaptor-Gauge-Radiator-Hose-1-5-Inch-NEW-USA-Ship-Ready-/200677956463 or this :http://www.mishimoto.com/mishimoto-32-mm-water-hose-connector.html?gclid=COvo0diBrrYCFQtyQgodeBAANw

I'm jsut going to double check the size and try to order a temperture sensor adapter.

I was just really over thinking the problem to this thing last night and it ended up being really simple.. LOL!

    • I've replaced the front brakes of my NA to 324 brembos and 350z calipers: i'm going for 225/40-18 up front and 245/35-18 in the back. I have Rays 7.5*19 ET35(225/35) in the front with 5mm spacers otherwise the calipers "lock up/ won't rotate". When i use the calculator i come up with 8*18 ET30 for 225/40...... but not sure i get problems with the calipers. Anyone riding around with 18 inch. that can confirm "that it'll fit"? In the back it's 7.5*9 ET30 (245/30) with the 5mm spacers, but there is no problem with the standard small brakes, so i want to take 8.5*18 ET25 (245/35).
    • Lol.. but then.. always come back to a JDM..
    • Glad to hear. If possible, get your tuner to check air's to make sure everything is still where it should be.
    • The problem with FB/Insta/Reddit etc comments relating to cars is simple. You get to ask a question once, and get one round of replies. For things that can actually be answered in a few lines of text, once, it's fine. After 6 hours, your original question is lost to the void. There are no follow ups, additional questions, anything. No project car is ever such a simple list of questions to ask. You need discussion.
    • Welcome.  Here's what I have noticed about forum vs FB..... FB; seems to be wallet racing, and the same few questions asked over and over. There *may* be some groups that are closer knit, but most have changed for the worse. SAU; unfortunately, no longer in its glory days. But....genuine people with similar interests. Not all about how much you spent and saying you dont have enough power. Sooooooo much knowledge available. Have personally seen people post up about literally topics I made myself, asking on FB like no one has done it before. Most has been done, and most of that is here.   If you ever feel like just general chatting theres the wasteland.  Other interests are also generally covered in other areas of the forum. Hope you enjoy hanging around. We would love to have you.   P.s. nice 32 😀
