Does anyone have, (or can they take) some pictures of an RB26 two piece greddy intake installed on an RB26, preferably in an R34 GTR?

I am also interested in seeing pictures of this plenum with a second fuel rail, 12 injector setup installed.

I need to identify where the plenum is close to certain parts of the car, particularly the clutch master cylinder but also any other areas.

Cheers,

Ian

Hi Ian,

There are some pics of my RB30 with a Greddy Plenum, Due to it fouling on the standard clutch madter I got rid of it, and run a S15 turbo clutch master, i got a adaptor CNC machined up so that it bolts straight on, and the rod length is exactly right. It hasn't made the pedal any harder (I run a Nismo Coppermix Twinplate)

With injector tech now.....why are you going to run 12 injectors?

Chris.

Excellent looking engine you have there, and thanks for the pic (found it on the second page).

Which engine mounts are you using, and how much have you spaced the kframe down from the chassis rails?

With no spacers my engine is 18mm lower than your engine, so if I lower the kframe 10mm there is a reasonable chance it will fit from the looks of it.

Ill be using 6 x 440's or 700's and 6 x 1000's with a dual fuel setup.

Deleting the booster or removing the option to be able to have one worries me as I may end up with a quad plate and an OS88 box in the car. I'd like to keep my options open rather than end up with an un drivable weekend warrior car.

Cheers, I'm running Nismo engine mounts, I haven't spaced the subframe as i didn't want screw up the suspension angles (not that its much good from factory) I did however make solid mounts to replace the 4 small rubber mounts on the gearbox mount.

I'd be surprised if the boosted master makes a lot of difference to be honest.....didn't feel any different with the same clutch

    • So either way it is gearbox out and look what is wrong?  I know about the input shaft bearing. Even before swap/new clutch the it sounded exactly like this: So is that inout shaft bearing or the other was installed backwards?  And can some please tell me the part number for that input shaft bearing? The gearbox is small box from R34 N/A and number is FS5W71C. Thank you
    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
