Reason for sale: building a new track car

Engine:

  • RB20DET
  • Tomei lightened flywheel
  • 600x300x80 front mount intercooler
  • alloy radiator
  • 2 x 10" SPAL thermo fans
  • pod filter
  • Blitz ECU
  • 19 row oil cooler
  • GTR in-tank Fuel Pump
  • Boost T (set to 12 PSI)
  • unknown brand high flow dump pipe
  • Metal Cat highflow CAT
  • 3" mandrel exhaust system
  • reconditioned power steering pump

Drivetrain:

  • 5 speed manual from an R33 NA (same as R32 box but with electronic speedo sender)
  • NPC 5 puk carbotic button clutch with cushion centre
  • BM44 brake master cylinder upgrade
  • Nissan factory R200 LSD rebuilt and shimmed

Suspension:

  • XYZ Coilovers all round (currently have 8kg front and 6kg rear springs fitted)
  • Whiteline Swaybars front and rear
  • adjustable camber/castor/toe/traction rod/arms front and rear

Interior:

  • G Reddy 60mm boost guage
  • Drift brand steering wheel and boss kit
  • autometer oil temp, oil pressure and water temp guages mounted in dash centre vent with metal facia
  • stripped interior (carpets, some sound deadening, aircon, audio and rear seats and belts

Exterior:

  • blue factory paint, needs a respray. right hand side clearcoat is peeling, i had started prepping it for painting (see pictures)
  • brick headlights
  • Enkei 17" mags, 7.5" front with 235/45/17 595RSR and 8" rears with 255/40/17 595RSR with heaps of tread left.

The car is mod plated for the following:

  • RB20DET engine conversion
  • 5 speed gearbox conversion
  • FMIC and associated piping
  • front REO modification for intercooler installation (non-structural)
  • 2 seater
  • full roll cage (not fitted. apparently you can no longer engineer a full cage into a street car)
  • front brake upgrade (Z32 front callipers with NAR33 4 stud rotors running EBC reds)
  • skyline rear brake upgrade (not installed)
  • aftermarket seats and rails (not installed)

To pass a roadworthy it will need the following work:

  • reverse lights need connecting up. they were disconnected when i replaced the gearbox and the mechanic forgot to connect them back up. just need plugging in.
  • speedo sender on gearbox needs connecting
  • digital dash with headup display has a few dry solder joints so intermittently cuts out but have a spare cluster to replace it
  • steering rack has a power steering fluid leak (seems to be just the copper washers where the high pressure line connects)
  • * to pass a proper legit roadworthy some sort of demister will need to be fitted to the windscreen as the factory aircon, fan and ducting has been removed.

Spares:

  • 6 x aftermarket injectors (cannot remember size off hand)
  • oil filter relocation kit
  • cusco catch can
  • pairs of 10kg, 12kg and 16kg springs to suit the coilovers
  • digital dash cluster
  • sard fuel reg
  • projector headlights

Car made 245 hp at the treads at 12psi on EFI Performance's dyno which is a very conservative dyno. Car does low 60's around Lakeside and QR so it performs quite well.
