Should My Radiator Fan Roar Like An Air-Boat?

Hello gentlemen,

Quick question on the cooling fan for my BNR32. I roars like a damn air-boat. Seriously, under excelleration (with a fairly quite exhaust fitted) all you can hear is the damn cooling fan. Is this normal?

I'm thinking it may indicate a siezed fan clutch.... or maybe they all sound like this.

i dont know the nissan part number but there is aftermarket ; davies craig (a good brand)have a listing on ebay, suggest you check it out

With the engine off, see if you can spin the fan. You can try to source a second hand working one.

I've found a fan off of a wrecked R34 GTR with low miles... er... kilometers. (Showing my American roots there.) I would presume that they are interchangeable...

Davies Craig seems to have one for an R32 GTS. (89-93 L6 2.5 R32 GTS RB25DE 5265) Will this one work?

, i have one off a r32 rb25de on my rb20det so there is a lot of interchangability, if you are on ebay (or wherever) then send a message to the supplier and ask
