Can anybody help me before I go male beserk and lose the will to live? I just got a mitsubishi rvr hypersport from Japan......blinding car but the feckin audio system didnt have an instruction booklet. I tried Pioneer but apparently they were dead at the time when this audio was made by their company!

I'm just a thick pom who needs to play my favorite englbert humperdink remixes whilst checkin out the talent, so does anybody know where I can get an instruction book, or does anyone know how the poxy thing works!!!

Cheers.

It is, and I can get the required noises, but some of the finer points are a pain, i.e how to fade between front/rear, using preprogrammed equalizer mode and general operation. Pity cos I think it could be a good system if I knew how to properly use the feckin thing!

i had this head unit my r33. its a good head unit. made by carrozerria which is pioneer japanese domestic,. you wont get a manul for it. if you have the remote you can use the function or audio button on it. or on the head unit you can use the function button, hold it down.

mine didnt come with a remote and the function button was broken so i couldnt do much with it. if it doubt get a new head unit with the correct audio frequencies as it will only go from 76 to 89

if u push and hold the audio button or function button it should give the eq settings for each band....this can be changed so u can adjust all the seperate frequencies from 80hz to 3.3khz i think.....if u play with this then u will be able to adjust the sound.....also if u turn the unit OFF while the car is ON then press and hold the FUNCTION button it will bring up a seperate menu where u can adjust the clock and brightness settings etc

    • Robertson was a Canadian inventor, and it absolutely reigns supreme here. 95% of our screws are Roberston. It's literally the only option you can buy off store shelves. What would it have lost out too? I believe it's also very popular in the US.  My reference to imperial was pointed to both NPT and BSP.
    • No. BSP lost to the cultural/technical imperialism of living next to Trumpistan. Face it, Robertson screws were better and still pretty much lost out to the yank stuff. The Europeans hate the Brits and they don't use NPT. NPT is just as "imperial" as BSP is, being based on those useless inch thingos. Just done differently.
    • I live in Quebec. Our license plate slogan is "Je me souviens" Translated is "We will remember" as a reminder to when England conquered us and that we must never forget what they did. Long story short, BSP is unheard of here due to being an English design. I'm surprised our nazi anti english government office the OQLF hasn't kicked in my door yet just talking about it, yet alone imperial anything.
    • Thanks for that! I did a quick Google search looked up some of hydaulic stores and didn't see it listed on the website, I'll give them a ring. Also found out later that I can buy 2 oem bleeder bolts for 10 bux and come with the washer which I might do so I don't waste the money it costs in petrol to find 2 washers (already did that lol). The old copper washes look in good nick, I drove it after taking it off and putting it back on and didn't see any  Part number here for reference if anyone needs: 14053-42L0A
