Hey guys

anyone using a garmin? which model? is it good?

saw some really cool models from their website that comes with free lifetime map updates and digital traffic updates... wonder if they are any good?

I've got a base model Garmin that I've had for a few years now. It's been good.

good as in... can update maps? accuracy? price?

Only time I had an issue with accuracy was in amongst the high rises in the middle of the city where it lagged a little bit and would tell me to turn as I was driving past the street it wanted me to turn into. Cost me about $150 about 4 years ago and it was before the lifetime updates offer by a year or 2. Haven't ever done an update of the map as I'd have to pay.

not a garmin but have been using the navman my350lmt

got it for a good price around $169 on special at DSE few months back.

life time maps, live traffic updates and safety camera alerts etc..

been very happy with mine!
