Wasn't feeling well so stayed home. Shit day at the office Andy?

I am a bit the same as you, bit burnt out, have been sick in the stomach for the last week and just really need the holiday break to be here!

It's amazing how much a day off with rest and some work around the house can help.

When are you on holidays?

next week mate.

Been getting all finances under order for the time while I'm away.......realised how much money this silly mortgage is chewing up.........so not funny

Hence why id rather buy investments and shares.

Richard put a fire cracker up him last week to put it nicely. He did have to machine some of the valves and put new stem seals in. But i definitely took a lot longer than it should have. At least its done now though

lol @ fire cracker!

Good on ya Richard

I used to think the same thing, but when mortgage prices start to close on rent prices its sort of a no brainer. And it feels really good to not have to put up with crappy owners and agents anymore. I was a bit hesitant about buying but it has turned out to be a really great thing so far.

I too am long overdue for a holiday. Been working here for 3years and Ive taken a total of two weeks off..

I am a bit the same, in 10 years (well almost) I have had about 4 periods of 1 week off. I have a lot of leave but need to figure out something to do with it!

Yeah I never go away on holidays so find it pointless to have a week off just for the sake of it. I used to just get my holiday pay paid out which the skyline loved. But works stopped doing that. I also am a Salary worker that accrues time in lieu so if i do have a day off here and there is in lieu not leave.

think i have about 300hrs of annual leave saved up

I just checked my balances 263 rec, 383 long service, 55 banked time. I think when I procure the 4x4 next year I will take a few months and check out some of Australia that I have not seen

    • How many of you guys run the synchro os giken set and at what power? Do you then also use the billet plate?  How is it launching with it, any dragy times from 0-60? 60ft?
    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
