This is the response that i got from this seller via sms after a pm about how much he wanted for the tyres?

Sir.dom: Tyres I can Sell for $700

The sherrid: Ok. Which guy off sau are you?

Sir.dom: Sir.dom: Toyo proxes r1r 245/40/18

The sherrid: Delivery to melb?

Sir.dom: Yes. What's your postcode thanks

The sherrid: Point cook melb 3030

Sir.dom: Additional $70 delivered to your door

The Sherrid: Your add says, 2700 with tyres and 2100 without. So I assumed tyres would be 600?

Sir.dom: Forgot about that post. Yep tyres are 600

The sherrid: Ok cool. I'll take em. Do you have paypal?

Sir.dom: There were two people who called first and are coming today and tomorrow to see the wheels and tyres together. If they fall through, I'll seperate the tyres and semd em to you. Let you know by tommorow.

Sir.dom: Let you know by tomorrow

The sherrid: ok.

The sherrid: Any news yet?

Sir.dom: I still want to sell the rims and tyres together. Or if I can find a buyer for rims only, I'll seperate the tyres.

The sherrid: Your last message said that if they fall through that you will separate them and send the tyres? Changing your mind half way through is a wasting my time. Are you selling or not, Whats going on?

Sir.dom: Yeah sorry don't think i want to seperate tyres just yet incase someone might want the tyres with the rims. Mainintension of the sau add is to sell the rims first.

This post is not inviting others to chime in with an opinion or to start any unbecoming behaviour so don't leave a reply based on it.

I want to highlight to others for as long as the post lasts that, if you are willing to sell then do so because there are people who simply want to buy what they need and get on with it.

To Sir.dom it is your right to defend yourself however if you do so, i will not respond as i repect the forum rules, sau and most importantly that this is a club for guys who have similar interests to share.

    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow

    • Welcome to SAU, what are you looking at buying?
    • I checked the injectors again (1 and 2, since they’re easiest to access) to make sure they weren’t clogged. Even though the entire fuel system had been cleaned, I wanted to be certain. Everything looked clean, so I reinstalled and connected everything. When I started the car to confirm everything was okay, it immediately revved up high, so I shut it off straight away. I checked to see if I’d missed a vacuum hose or something, but everything was connected. On the second attempt, the car ran without the high idle, but I noticed a distinct “compressed air” sound coming from the engine bay. Tracing the sound, I pushed injector #6 forward slightly and the noise stopped — it turned out it wasn’t seated properly, despite the fuel rail being bolted down. While holding it in place, the car idled steadily without stalling and ran for over 5 minutes. At this point, I pulled all six injectors out just in case I hadn’t seated them correctly or dirt had gotten onto the O-rings. Unfortunately, I discovered that I had damaged 3 out of 6 injectors (the OEM 270cc ones) during installation. So yes, this was my fault. Since only the pintle caps were damaged, I’ve ordered a Fuel Injector Service Kit from NZEFI to refurbish them. In the meantime, I reinstalled my new injectors – the car now idles fine for over 15 minutes without stalling. I have not attempted to drive it so far. It’s not perfect yet, as it hesitates when the throttle is pressed, but it’s a big improvement. Unplugging the IACV with the new injectors idles at around 800rpm, even with the IACV screw tightened fully. But this is probably due to tune.
