Just to update this -

I took the car back to the workshop this week and they removed the wastegate from the car, replaced the diaphragm and installed a 1 bar spring (was apparently previously running a 7psi spring). Apparently due to the wastegate being upside down, moisture and other things/gunk collected around the valve which made it difficult to operate correctly. I then had the car tuned up again at about 20-21psi....it still creeps a little bit but definitely not enough to worry about :)
