Hi Guys,

I'm stripping out a MkIII Supra for the track, for sale are the 2x Bride Low-Max seats that came with it, and the Original Supra Recaros.

(We're putting in fixed-back race seats)

The Driver's Bride is almost as-new, and the passenger's only has marks from mounting, and sitting on the floor, you'd barely know it's been in a car.

$800 the pair ono, they're advertised elsewhere & on ebay.

The Recaros have height & angle headrest adjustment, thigh-support adjustment, driver's has seat-base height adjust too.

Passenger's is in good nick, driver's - well you can see in the pic, foam is all good - it's just the normal wear points on the bolster.

Not bad for 25yrs old I thought.

$550 the pair ono, they're advertised elsewhere & on ebay as well.

PM me or reply here, Seats are in Preston, Melbourne.

First preference given to local pick-up.

Shipping, if sold interstate to be organised by the buyer, at their expense.

And no, I don't want to sell them individually. (sorry)

Heya folks, The Recaros have sold. Gone to a dude kitting-out a Gemini on his P's !

The Brides are still available, price re-considered to $750 :-)

Are those Bride seats geniune? Willing to post to 4109 Brisbane?

Hi Al,

I'm not really sure if genuine - they came with a car I bought, which I'm stripping to make into a track car.

I think I saw somewhere that genuine Brides have an alloy frame, and these are Steel.

- Pretty good copy if they are fakes though, can't tell by looking at them.

I'm in Preston if anyone wants to have a look at them.

They were only in the car for 6 months, and most of that it sat in a warehouse. There's barely a mark on them.

Can freight to Brisvegas, but not included in that price - it'll be extra :-)

you do a magnet test to see if there fake on a part of the seat.. 90% sure if there steel there fake. and brand new on drift sales a guys selling 600 a pair. and thats brand new.

so 400 il pick up tonight. 0421882321

    • I've seen similar actually in my situation. You never know what tables are attempted to be used when the car thinks it's -99C or +200C. The fail state is not usually that extreme but you know what I mean - it was in my case though! This is where being able to read all the sensors is useful cause you see this stuff really quickly.
    • The above is very important. However as long as you keep timing relatively low, it's plausible to make your own knock ears and plausible to learn to tune with a modern ECU that can do wideband O2 correction like a boost controller. I mean if you only have one viable road to even drive the car on, learning to tinker to this level may be worth doing given you can't do much else with the car...?
    • I find the fact that the rear plate has to be bent inwards at the rear not so bad: but the front is just awful: It's like come on. (these are my very old, now retired/turned in plates) TBH it is a lot of money to fix a minor issue, the fact I said "I'll never really spend the money on doing this" is why people ended up buying them as a gift for a 'car guy' who can be hard to shop for.. for car guy things.
    • I just bent the ends of my premo plates. It even went through Regency like that after the engine conversion and the inspector (a great bloke!) just squinted his eyes and said "I didn't see that". Plates, and how they look, are just something that have zero importance to me.
    • Yeah, I would have said the same. It makes me suggest that there are other things wrong, such that the ECU is totally unhappy with the broken sensor. The only other thought here is that maybe it is shorted, which might cause a different issue to the typical "disconnected" sensor.
