ITEM FOR SALE: Used ACC Air Bag Suspension Kit for a V35/G35

BREAKDOWN:

Hey guys, had this system removed but haven't had time sell it. It is a full kit for a V35/G35 Coupe. From what I can see, it appears to be this system: www.airrunnersystems.com/air-suspension/infiniti

The Shop has removed all the materials that came with it from what I can see (I have looked through the car and can't see anything else). It appears to be straight forward, a line and power running through the front battery grommet, partial line running to the cupholder where the Guages and Switches are and the remaining running through the left side of the car (zip tied in between the OEM cables) through to the rear grommet.

From what I can see it includes KYB Suspension, Compressor for boot, Motor, lines for air and power and gauges and switches (it was mounted in cupholder tray which was cut out underneath).

Be advised, this won't be a legal suspension system by itself and you will have to make your own enquiries if and where it can be mod plated/approved etc. I take no responsibility if fitted and you are defected.

PRICE: The website shows a new kit to be $4,293 USD (without shipping). Owing to the heavy weight of the contents, at this stage Brisbane pickup/meetup would be better as shipping in AUS would be expensive.

I am looking for around $3000 ONO

CONTACT: Feel free to PM any questions or inspections for Brisbane.

As I am not using it I thought best to sell it, perhaps someone can use it as a daily cruise (if you can get it legal) or for a show car.

Pics are below, sorry if they are compressed.

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
