Genuine Gizzmo MSIB-C v3 Electronic Boost Controller (53PSI)

QUICK SUMMARY

Gizzmo’s MSIBC has been on the street now for approximately 10 years and has the glory of being John Bradshaw’s choice on his 7.45sec 187mph GTST Skyline.

Albeit the best value controller anywhere, the MSIBC-V3 uses a genuine American MAC solenoid and a precision Motorola pressure sensor. All the critical hardware components are high precision and quality branded items.

In it’s initial design we purpose built an engine setup so we could fine tune the boost control on our hub dyno up to the advertised 3.5 bar; we ran it up to 53 psi to be exact (3.65bar). At that level we were getting fluctuations of +/- 0.3 psi on the test mule, so approx 1%.

This control software still resides at the heart of the MSIBC-V3 although everything around it has been improved. The processor is now 16bit instead of 8bit. Physically it is 80% smaller and 70% lighter (with bracket) than previous versions. Now, to make mounting easier, it has a mounting bracket, also we have now added a feature that allows you to quickly set up your boost, even in real time whilst on boost if you’re feeling a little crazy.

So like most of todays technology, the MSIBC-V3 is easier to use, lighter, smaller, more powerful than ever before yet still costs the same. We challenge you to find a better value boost controller anywhere in the world!

    • Ha ha ha, that's fair mate! We have the crackhead dogs now. Mainly because the missus wants the crazy dogs while she still has the energy and capacity to be able to keep up with them! Ha ha our current two are both Working GSD, there brothers and sisters (from the same litters) are in Police, Corrective Services, and I believe one did end up in defence force too. They're wild and fun, yet right now, both curled up asleep on the lounge room floor while we watch some TV. Mal is very likely the next dog (unless I get my couch potato guardian dog 😛 )   What are your Kitties names? Are you planning some house work, like those high kitty shelves, built in scratching post, and some cat passages from one room to another room?
    • Maine Coone, did look at but to big and fluffy As for performance dogs, we had Mals at work, performance dogs are fun to watch, but, way to much work for this old rooster
    • Yep, it was only an option on the Q50 Hybrid.  Same in Japan as far as I know. And doesn't use a centre diff like the Suby's do, so not the same as the WRX.  But it also isn't a reactive AWD like other Nissan AWD vehicles are, eg. Murano/Xtrail/etc.
    • You should have got a Maine Coone then. Only thing is they're big. But so cool, and just like a dog. Or, just get yourself a high performance dog. That'll teach you for wanting Parkour indoors 😛
    • Are you thinking of Bens R32? I don't remember if his went through the bonnet itself, but it went through the chassis rail. Brad (RISKIN) bought it, and turned it into a track car. It's funny how anti people are of Jim Berry now. I remember when I pulled mine out (during an engine change) and inspected it and found it cracking badly. At that point in time so many people were even on SAU, were so pro Jim Berry, and that was after Bens GTR exploded his quite publically.
