Gday guys, up for sale is my beloved nissan stagea rs4s. I have owned this vehicle for 6-7 years and was its first in australia when it had 76,000km on the clock. This car is in very good condition with a few scratches in the paint however it needs to be seen to be appreciated. Its been undercover since ive owned it. It has had a 100,000km service including Gates racing timing belt, water, pump, pulleys, etc and get serviced every 5000kms with nulon synthetic oil. In the time i have owned it i have had a nistune chip professionally installed along with the following modifications:

Brakes - calipers upgraded to r34 skyline gtt front and rear (4 piston front, 2 rear), disks are slotted rda with ebc greenstuff pads, braided HEL brake lines, motul brake fluid

Suspension - factory suspension (same as R33 GTR). I have also had installed adjustable rear camber and toe arms, adjustable tension rods and a hicas (4ws) lock bar. It is a very stable car around corners with the GTR suspension and a slightly aggressive wheel alignment by pedders.

Engine - Stock engine tuned too and running 12-13psi with the nistune and making a safe 200kw at all 4. it has a K&N high flow panel filter, splitfire coil packs and greddy profect b spec 2 for boost control. The motor has only ever runn max 12-13 psi and doesn't get thrashed or driven hard. This psi is the safe level when tuned properly using stock turbo.

Exhaust/Intercooler/Clutch - exhaust is custom made 3 inch stainless steel mandrel bent with 3 inch dump pipe, high flow cat and twin tipped. Intercooler is a front mount Blitz LM return flow intercooler using factory piping. The clutch is an EXTREME HD cushioned button clutch (streetable)

Wheels - Rota G Grid R 18.8.5 with near new 235/40/18 Kumho UHP KU19 tyres.

All the driveline fluids have been serviced with HQ nulon synthetic oils etc. To look at the car you would think its stock with a nice exhaust note and wheels. Interior is stock and in very good condition. It has a cyclops alarm/immobiliser, a factory boot floor mat and a small boost gauge that looks factory. Under the bonnet looks competely stock. It runs safe, strong and smooth and a real shame to have to sell but it was unregistered for 6 months sitting undercover as i drive a 4wd now and my wife has a company work car

Negatives - it is just starting to show bubbling under the paint in the usual stagea under side mirror problem and the plastic exterior trims have faded. One of the weather shields has broken but still is on with double sided tape. (looks fine).

i have spent all the hard dollars and time keeping and maintaining this vehicle to keep it the way it is i just do not need it and have made the decision to sell. whoever buys will be very happy as everything good has been done and done properly. I hope ive covered everything in this add if not feel free to buzz and ask questions and arrange a time to see it.

cheers guys

    • Yeah, I don't believe the M35 uses a deadhead system.
    • Have you done your thinking backwards? 3 bar, 43.5 psi pressure drop being the presumed specification for an injector, means you need 3 bar upstream when they are firing into atmospheric pressure, and more upstream pressure than that when on boost (you add your boost to your rail pressure to maintain 3 bar across the injector) and you need..... less pressure upstream when you have vacuum in the manifold. So, presuming that you're idling at -10 psi, then you only need ~23 psi in the rail. I realise that I did not need to say all of that to you specifically Matt, once you'd realised your mistake. It's mostly there for complete clarity for others.
    • Have you reached out to the guys at Spool Imports? They are a Ross dealer, I can imagine they would have the rings just sitting on the shelf (I could be wrong).
    • There's one for sale at Grand Auto Wreckers in Lonsdale (SA), for .... let's suggest the sum they're asking for will make you cry. You may have to embrace the idea of modifying the rear subframe to accept some other diff. You could probably find a way to wangle a shortnose into there, with a custom rear adapter and some sort of shenanigans to relocate the front mounts. This has probably already been done by others, so there might be some guidance available as to how easy/impossible it is, out there in the googles. But you possibly needn't restrict yourself to Nissan diffs if you're going to contemplate that. There are similarish Toyota diffs, possibly some Euro ones, possibly some Seppo ones.
    • The ball joint taper and arm taper have to match angle and diameter, but just doing the bushes is a much better option.....seems like the industry moved to "it is cheaper to replace the whole arm than take on the labour for changing this bushes", glad the aftermarket supports it
