Knocking noise from.. aircon ?

Hi all...bought my car 2 months ago and just 2 weeks after that..i've been hearing this knocking noise that's i think coming out of the aircon vents...well,. that's wer it's loudest anyway.

i turn ignition on..and there-- knock--knock--about 7 times then gone...i am thinking that it has something to do with a fan hitting something but not so sure..it only started to happen when i touched the aircon setup..and its now regularly doing it everytime i turn ignition on.

when my aircon's on..since i have auto climate control.. everytime aircon is on high,. the knocking starts but gone after like 7-8 times.

im pretty sure it's comming from the aircon or something..but sure is loudest inside the car where the centre vents are...can hardly hear it from the outside so i doubt thats the engine at all.

anyone had the same problem and had it fixed HOW ?

hi, its a common fault for 33s had so many mechanics tell me it. mine does it too . you get used to it. its an electrical issue. if you want to fix it an auto electrician is the way to go. its something behind the vents as you can hear it. might cost abit to fix but see what they say.

didnt someone take apart their dash a while back?

Theres a white box thing in behind the vents/dash, i think that makes that noise.

This is the part that you have to get to ( the white box thing in the middle )

"This is the problem.. that black thing ontop is one of the relays (there is another on the side of that box) that slides back and forward to open the vents in there. If its slightly stuffed it will "click" when operating." By predator a few months back.

arrrgghh...too lazy to take them apart..no money to spend either...i guess i'll jaz have to deal with it..it seems pretty common anyways...but thanks for the help though.
