also im htinkin of shaving my door handles, is there alot of work involved for this, do they have to respray the whole doors?

the antenna at the rear is for radio, it would be a good idea to keep it, jsut cut the top stem of the stem and glue into the top with sellys no more gaps ;P

shaved doors, well you have to weld a piece into the spot where the handle was, reconfiger the wire inside to get it to work without handles(as they levers) and you would need to snad and bog it down alot to make look flat(whant welding it bents/warps the metal from the heat of welder)

your car would look different and be unique, but it will cost you ALOT to get done. I would buy spare doors and have them painted just incase you need to change doors, or you need parts :)

get the interior the same colour as the car at the same time, its worth it. and looks better. its old but it looks better when all the same colour. most of the parts will be off anyway.

yeah i never use my arial also. its just a connection that u dont connect when hooking up a head unit to make it not work i think.

as for the doors...well i always wanted to bog up my key holes and make em flush but i heard that because its bog on plastic there might be a chance of cracking or paint discolour or peeling later on. who knows....i might give it a wack one day

    • Thanks for the linkie. Certainly always a great deal of help when people post comparisons like these, but I think for now I'll stay away from any semi slicks. I did go ahead and order the sportcontact 7. My buddy has them on his modified A4 and he keeps saying how good they are. For my intended purposes these will probably work real well. I'll report on them once I had the chance to try them out
    • Talk about noisy. Even when I still had the Tomei under the car I could distinctly hear the tires rolling. And I doubt I ever will need maximum grip like on a track. My GTR will maybe never even see the 600hp mark and I need to get used to the car quite a bit before challenging the limits of its handling. For the next winter storage I think I will get a set of these rubber drive-on thingies that have a tire shaped base. Those supposedly really help prevent flat spots.
    • Well our climate is definitely way less hot overall and the weather can be quite picky at times. I just know that during normal road use or even spirited drives there is no way I'd be able to consistently stay in the operating temperature, and constantly changing the tire pressure would also be a royal pain.
    • Input shaft bearing. They all do it. There is always rollover noise in Nissan boxes - particularly the big box. Don't worry about it unless it gets really growly.
