but mate you have to realise that if you put a very nice body kit onto a civic, although it may look very nice and shyt...but people willl just think that it's rice and nothin more. You rather spend the money and kit a skyline and you will gain a lot more respect in that den a civic, even though its a non turbo, but who would know if your not racing anyone. I personally didnt like the shape of an R32 but i admit its realli grown on me.

So my advice, get a skyline coz once you drive a line, your hooked....I was about to buy a lancer, civic, jazz.....and once i sat in my friends line..i was like fcccccuukk dat.....i want a line and havent looked back since..i wouldnt swap my line for any other car other den another line at this point of time

Here's what I would do

If i were to get a CIVIC it would be because - I don't intend to do up the car and just need it to get from a-b. Honda's hold their value for much longer than an 1989 gts or whatever age the 32 u want is.

However,

If i were intending to do up the car (engine/performance wise) i would get the gts as the rb20 is a a good engine to do up a little.

in conc. CIVIC - to just drive around in, SKYLINE to have fun in and hold on for longer.

p.s. why do people want to put a kit and rims on a civic? it makes it go slower if anything and attracts unwanted attention

    • Another vote for installing them and see how you go.  I mean, you already own them, why would you not fit them?
    • I have had too many of those over the years, my cars have a toolkit or at minimum a cheapy multi tool thing because its too easy to be snookered by some stupid plastic clip that stops you checking the battery terminal isn't loose.
    • Basically, if there is a part# on the nissan catalogue, it is a genuine part. There is a thing called "new old stock" which is stuff made years ago but never sold (or landfilled), but it is super hit and miss what you can buy. Other than some expensive Nismo stuff there is nothing new being made that suits these cars. The only time to be a little careful is (mostly in the US I think, but maybe Japan too), Nissan started rebranding some cheap crap maintenance parts like oil filters as "Pitworks"; stay away from them, if you are buying cheap just buy whatever the local car parts shop carries The three part numbers have an explanation on Amayama: 0V005 is auto, base style 0V015 is manual 0V505 is auto, hectic momo branded ones, maximum F&F points there!
    • Just to get this straight if you turn the splined shaft to the outside, it turns freely but the chain does not move? What happens when you move the chain, does the splined shaft turn? Surely the shaft is snapped, or the chain is seized and it took the teeth off whatever great is behind the steel bracket
