Need Smaller Fan

ok, i just installed my new FMIC. 300x600x76. Anyway, the piping is too fat and my fan is gonna rub on the pipe if i turn it on, and i dont want that.

My question, does anyone know where i can get a smaller fan, or if its at all bad to just clip the wings of it a tiny bit? Ive been told its bad to have uneven fan blades, so precision is vital.

If anyone has any info or help, would be greatly appreciated.

yep cut the corners off your fan blades i had to. does not make any difference to temp.

i just used a hacksaw while it was still on there just try to make it as even a possible

so is it a hybrid kit you have.

yes well better than chasing up a smaller fan either that or get some thermo fans.

just hack off corners with a stanley knife. i had to do the same

I remember reading an installation guide made by Hybrid for their FMICs and at the end they said to snip the corners off the fan...

heavy git sand paper when the car is on will remove the corners evenly!
