G'day.

I'm really keen to get my hands on some DARK tail-lights or tail-light lenses for my series 1 R33 GTST sedan.

I'm looking for the ones like in the attachment, but haven't had any luck yet.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

A rear spoiler would be nice too ... but it's the lights I'm focusing on.

Cheers - Sven.

hey dude those lights look like standard ones which has been tinted (prabably used the spray can)

i have a pair of r33 series 2 (4door) tailights

i dont have a pic on this comp but the lights look totally different to the series1

they only have the circles like the 2 doors whereas series1 is all clear

i also have a series 2 spoiler (4door)

interested?

let me know

Yeah, I might be interested, but I'm having trouble picturing the tail-lights.

Also I'm not sure whether the series 2 lights would fit onto my series 1, but if you can post a pic I'll have a look & see what I reckon.

As for the spoiler, I might be interested.

What type is it (ie: genuine Nissan or aftermarket)?

What colour?

What does it look like (does it attach to the boot only or also the rear quarter panels)?

Does it have the LED brake light in it?

Once again if you can get a pic or 2 I'd be very interested to take a look.

Cheers - Sven.

ok im on the work comp so dont have pics

but can get u some on the weekend

im pretty sure the lights will fit nothing different

spoiler sits on the boot and it does have brake lights

both genuine nissan parts in white

so if u put it on ur car it will look exactly like a S2 from behind!

try looking for some pics on the net

Thanks for replying.

I've done a search but can't find any pics of the rear of a series 2 sedan.

If you can come up with some I'd appreciate it.

Any idea how much you'd want for them?

these lights are pretty rare, ive only seen one s2 4door on the road

i have the pictures of the lights but dont have any of the spoiler atm

im after $400 ono for the pair of lights

r33 4door series2 spoiler $200

ill have pics soon

Thanx for those pics - they look prety good.

But do you know if the white surounds can be painted, 'coz my car's gun-metal grey & it would look a bit silly with white lights.

FYI the center section between the taillights is different for the SII 4-door as well, so you might want to get one of those if you plan on getting SII lights so everything will match.

Attached photo should explain it all.

ill get pics of the spoiler soon. the condition is pretty good and it looks different to the one above! looks like the s2 rdoor version

ive seen s1 4doors with that center part painted and they dont look too bad

Thanks, I'd like to see the pics.

Don't know about painting the cetre section on my car though, I prefer he see-through effect - goes well with the gun-metal grey.

It's just the tail lights I'm not so crazy about.

Actually I'm still really after one like what's in the picture I posted (start of this thread), but no-one seems to know where you get those.

    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
