Hmm i was going to sr20 my Datsun 1600, but this article has shed a new wave of light into my modification techniques. I have rebudgeted and the money is now going towards a rear spolier, a bonnet scoop and heaps of schtickers, once tuned correctly i should see 360 awkw, if not i will upgrade side mirrors to chrome items and may contemplating installing led washers, should be good for a high 9.

After just unlocking the R34 GT-R and driving it around for a bit I thought... 'Right that's it, I'm going to get in my own car and drive really fast and sideways everywhere, not caring if I crash into other cars at 250kmh...' then I thought 'No wait, I'm not a ****ing computer game'...

i was playing gta3 the other day, so i start running people over, will the game be at fault?

steve

thats been done. when it came out it had the finger poined at it for a school shooting. *ucking unbelievable, isn't it? obviously if its i a videogame, the people playing it MUST be going out and doing exactly what happening in the game. stupid *ucks, them media dicks.

come to think of it, i played san andreas ffrom 8:30 this morn until 3:30 today. i might go steal a jump jet of a aircraft carrier after blowing up a crack factory and visting 12 hookers in a row in a stolen police car.

I'd just drill it out and tap ina 1/4" thread. No need for rocket surgery when the next most obvious thing will do. You could throw a 1/4 x 1/8 bush in there and use the same fitting you intended to use.
    • Is the only issue that the oil catch can is getting filled on hard runs? I'd be thinking more about oil control issues rather then the head lifting, especially as you aren't seeing spiking in the coolant pressure.  Do you need restrictors in the head, or better drains from the head? Does the sump need venting to the catch can?
    • Tried to make 1/8npt threads into compressor house of the turbo for my EBC. Threads got fu#ked and ended up with and elongated hole, so I do have good amount and nice threads 90% of the hole but 10% I only had 1-2threads there and rest of it is flush on that side of the hole.. So my idea is to do M12 x 1.25 to AN4 with braided lines instead of 1/8npt to 4mm vacuum silicone hose.  and hopefully get a better thread. M12 is quite big and AN4 is a little bit bigger than 4mm (4.9mm inner diameter braided PTFE hose). but this should work. Thoughts? Otherwise I will weld and adapter onto the turbo.
