Check this out. A roads engineer in europe has started developing roads with no traffic sighns and has expeirenced a large drop in the number of accidents on said roads.

Man Aussie traffic engineers would have a heart attack.

Just goes to show that road safety is a state of mind. Without road signs at a busy intersection we use our own brains, rather than following directions, there is no one to blame for a duck up.

Sort of goes along with my road safety idea - put razor sharp 400mm long spikes on everyones steering wheel pointing at your neck as you drove. You would not speed or do anything stupid then would you.

Gotta love Holland though, always willing to try new things, unlike the conservative left bullshit we have over here.

oh and it dosent work at that big roundabout in france, i cant spell the name...........no road markings etc and it just makes people more agressive cause it dosent put them in the blame.............
