Well an incident on the weekend has prompted me to post a thread on areas where people have had their cars broken into/keyed or some other kind of low life activity. :D

My 33's Drivers side window was smashed and my rear tyre slashed by some low life, in the Cheers carpark in Victoria Park on saturday night. :(

If people can use this post to put down the location and what happened to their car, then hopefully we can compile a list of areas where 'lines are susceptible to being abused!! (this will need to be stickied)...

the important thing now though is i need a Drivers side Window for my 33!!! can anyone help!??

where abouts in bullcreek? i used to live at 47 endeavour ave till 1997 :D

Also, it can happen any suburb, my lancer was broken into out front of house in mountpleasant, my auto vu ss ute had a brick thrown at it as well infront of home. Mates silvia's been broken into/windows smashed at his place in mosman park etc.

Was the back car park behind the cheers hotel, was visiting a friend who lives in that area.

Looking in the bright side, i am kinda glad i didnt cach them in the act, as i wouldn't be able to post what i would have done to them if i caught them! And consequently i would have been the one behind bars.. ;)

      Thanks for the linkie. Certainly always a great deal of help when people post comparisons like these, but I think for now I'll stay away from any semi slicks. I did go ahead and order the sportcontact 7. My buddy has them on his modified A4 and he keeps saying how good they are. For my intended purposes these will probably work real well. I'll report on them once I had the chance to try them out

      Talk about noisy. Even when I still had the Tomei under the car I could distinctly hear the tires rolling. And I doubt I ever will need maximum grip like on a track. My GTR will maybe never even see the 600hp mark and I need to get used to the car quite a bit before challenging the limits of its handling. For the next winter storage I think I will get a set of these rubber drive-on thingies that have a tire shaped base. Those supposedly really help prevent flat spots.

      Well our climate is definitely way less hot overall and the weather can be quite picky at times. I just know that during normal road use or even spirited drives there is no way I'd be able to consistently stay in the operating temperature, and constantly changing the tire pressure would also be a royal pain.

      Input shaft bearing. They all do it. There is always rollover noise in Nissan boxes - particularly the big box. Don't worry about it unless it gets really growly.
