70 according to the wiseco information sheet, all the ones ive ever done have been at least 66, theres an obvious difference between 25s and 26s the 26 chambers are alot deeper, all these 63cc rb26s must have been milled heaps to get them that low, if you do a comp ratio calculation using 63cc chambers youll end up with higher than the factory 8.5 to 1.

how can 25 heads with comp ratios of 9 to 1, smaller crown on the piston and a shorter stroke have the same cc chamber as 26 heads that have 8.5 to 1 comp ratio, if the stroke of the 26 is longer and the crown on the piston is bigger then with the same chamber volume the 26 comp ratio will be higer than 9 to 1.

ace_nz, this was the thinking behind my question. I have a stock Nissan RB26DETT piston, and a stock Nissan RB25DET piston here on my desk, the crown protrusions differ as you say.... Hmmm. I am asking this as i have been offered an HKS 2.8 stroker kit, brand new, at a good discount, and am trying to work out the compression if I fit this kit into my RB25DETT block with RB25DET head.

Arias Pistons for RB30s with twin cams head have 2 part numbers ,one for 25 head and one for 26 head.I have to CC pauls head and a stock GTR head this week as he has an RB26 crank going in to his RB25 and i need to work out the pistons i need to use. Will post the details then.

one thing you guy might have over looked here it the piston to deck hieght of block the head and piston from 25 and 26 could be just as you said but if the piston to deck height could be quiet different (i dont know this just idea that could expain the problem)

    • Yep, the closest base tune available was for the GTT, I went with that and made all the logical changes I could find to convert it to Naturally Aspirated. It will rev fine in Neutral to redline but it will be cutting nearly 50% fuel the whole way.  If I let it tune the fuel map to start with that much less fuel it wont run right and has a hard time applying corrections.  These 50% cuts are with a fuel map already about half of what the GTT tune had.  I was having a whole lot of bogging when applying any throttle but seem to have fixed that for no load situations with very aggressive transient throttle settings. I made the corrections to my injectors with data I found for them online, FBCJC100 flowing 306cc.  I'll have to look to see if I can find the Cam section. I have the Bosch 4.9 from Haltech. My manifold pressure when watching it live is always in -5.9 psi/inHg
    • Hi My Tokico BM50 Brake master cylinder has a leak from the hole between the two outlets (M10x1) for brake pipes, I have attached a photo. Can anyone tell me what that hole is and what has failed to allow brake fluid to escape from it, I have looked on line and asked questions on UK forums but can not find the answer, if anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful.
    • It will be a software setting. I don't believe many on here ever used AEM. And they're now a discontinued product, that's really hard to find any easy answers on. If it were Link or Haltech, someone would be able to just send you a ECU file though.
    • Yes sir am asking is there possible way from aem tuner from wiring pins
    • Have you checked cam to crank timing and confirmed balancer marks are correct?
