Redline Performance Cruise For The Salvos – Biggest Event Of 2005 13/03/05

Recommended Posts

the cruise it going to shikjuku.

BTW my favourite line was this:

we are on show to the country via channel 9 to show them that the modified car industry is not full of hoons and people that care about the community.

apart from that good luck with the cruise. good to see someone trying to do something for a good cause.

Date: 13th March 2005

Meeting point for sydney : P6 carpark

Time: 10:30

Meeting point for central coast : To be advised

Time: 11.00

Meeting point for newcastle: Newcastle Knights stadium carpark where there will be a representative of the cruise in charge there

Time: 11.00

The final destination is at Bateau Bay sports and rec fields (also known as EDSACC).

well i guess that means us coasties will be at edsacc at 1130, no use going to the twinys cause then it would mean going up to warnervale doing

"u" turns and coming back down the free way.

unless we meet up with the newie crew on their way down the freeway.

That's what we've done every other time man... just shoot up the freeway from newy, turn round after the caltex and then come back down the freeway to the caltex going back towards newcastle... it's easy :P

ne more know what time the cruise finishes @ s.o.p cos  i need 2 b  @ the superdome  4.45 pm.

gtrsrule - Not sure when it will finish but as a guess i would say 16:30 to 18:00

I guess we are leaving Sydney @ about 11:00 to meet up @ Wyong @ 12:30, does anyone know?

    • Hopefully it ends up being something manageable, like a hone, rather than a full bore—it would be a huge relief if it’s not as bad as it looks. Hang in there; these setbacks are annoying, but it sounds like you’re handling it as smartly as possible.
    • At the end of the day, it’s all about understanding the odds and being comfortable with the potential cost, whether it’s horsepower on a build or chips on a roulette table. And I have to say, the Laine example made me laugh—some people really do embrace that carefree, “roll and see” attitude!
    • Thanks MBS206, i got that PDF but got abit overhelm with all the connections and tracing of wires. I wasn't expecting to plug the dash harness anywhere. i was just going to use my electronics jumper wires to plug into the right pins like ECU power, ecu ground, ignition trigger etc... I do have a few ratchet straps locking it down tight. Fire extinguisher ready and only a small amount of fuel at a time, enough to submerge the pump.
    • Thanks GTSBoy, i will do abit more digging. I am missing a blue relay near the ECU connector... so i will chase that up in the next few days as well
