Yep thats mine. Getting some work done at a mates garage before registering it. Some TLC and it'll be sweet.

I guess this is a spotted entry now hey!!

did u used to own a modded r33 gtst,if so i think my brother stephen knows u.

yeah i had a white slightly modded gtst, umm i know 2 stephens, one thats a paramedic and the other that works with me and also owns a gtst

Blitz boost controller and turbo timer

HKS Coilovers each corner

Twin plate clutch dunno wat brand though

Sent $7800 to japan for the car

$3700 to import broker for freight, customs and all that

$291 for compliancing

now just gotta license it, insure and respray

Flite, good price and very cheap..why?

My suggestion is before you spend all your money on painting etc, make sure the mechanicals are sound and you have fresh fluids, filters, belt, pump etc. That is do a major service on it.

Also get the compression test/cylinder leakage done to assess engine condition.

you may be in for a surprise, you may not.

yeah ken first thing i did was change all the fluids and stuff. Once the paint is done i was looking to rebuild the engine anyway, i was down at hyperdrive yesterday to get a quote on that, the dude said he'ld call me when he had the quote ready. Also its in better condition than I thought it was gonna be in. In the pics i got the interior looks all stuffed up and the body looked much rougher than it is.

um no i dont? i know you have new workers there, but even if you mention their names i dont know who they would be, i havent met anyone :)

and how much is that compression test?

Long, Anthony Scali ( nd4spd) will probably be doing the rebuild on it as our resident engine building/head porting/wolf tuning guru.

I think if you ask anyone on here , they will tell you what his achievements are.

Compression/cylinder leakdown test on the GTR is $150.

      I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'

      D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.

      KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.

      Fair enough, I am in no way a tire expert so I'm not familiar with all the terms and conditions. I'll definitely note down the AD09 to potentially try in the future. Rain is not too big of a concern for now as I will probably only drive in the rain when I have to. And considering I still lack experience driving the GTR I'd more than likely take it easy too. I have coilovers in the car but as I barely got to drive so far I never bothered to even check if they are adjustable haha. The suspension is almost entirely old and worn as well so I suppose when I eventually fix that in the future that would make a huge difference.
