Im having an intercooler put on my s2 r33, and the guy at the workshop recommended that i get a plenum custom made. Im aiming or around 250rwkw, is the decrease in lag going to be worth the $1100 odd it will be to fabricate one?

Spend your $$$ on more performance goodies.

I have a FMIC on my S2 R33 and I could barely feel the lag difference between it and the stock cooler.

If you want to look into shorter piping ( ie. less lag ) down the track, you can have the standard manifold modified to move the throttle body to the front for a couple of hundred $.

Either way, the standard manifold will be fine for 250rwkw.

There are plenty of people on here with 250 and more with the standard plenum. Don't waste your money.

A standard GTR core or similar dimensioned ( 600x300x75 ) aftermarket item is what most fit to GTSt's.

Take a look in the Group Buy and For Sale sections. There are always heaps of good deals to be had.
