Coola piping

Hey guys,

Anyone know where and how much intercooler pipings go for plus fitting? ie in Sydney.

Best quote I have so far is $550 (fitting included).

I got my one (2.5 inch, mild steel, mandrel bent) for just over $300.

It uses the standard pipes in the engine bay and once it goes below that, it is all his own design.

That a good price compared to what I got!!

Im guessing that the pipe goes under your coola and returns on the same side (similar to the standard setup).

Is labour included in price?

I was thinking bout the same setup since less piping is invloved (save $$$) but how did u find it performance wise. Would u recommend 3inch piping instead as my future plans are 400-500hp turbos.

Please provide me with more details of the workshop.

My one took a whole day (9am - 5pm) and the price was including labour.

Yes the pipes run over the cooler to the same side so that I could use the standard entry and exit point to the engine bay.

I'm not sure what size pipework you should use..

I am not looking at that sort of power so myone is just fine for me.

I still have the standard exhaust so I haven't noticed any power gains.

The inlet temps have decreased though.

Once I get the exhaust done, it should all be much better.

I bet it would cost heaps more at wreckers.. If you can find it that is.
