Ok well its been stripped of all its good pits from the circling buzzards and now is pretty much stock as stock can be.

1991 JZZ30 Soarer

All electrics as per std

72xxxxkms

ie. Windows, mirrors, seats etc

-No skirts

-Std front bar with lower lip

-std wheels with tyres (90% tread)

-No stereo

-6 speakers

-Turbo timer

-Boost gauge

-Std exhaust

-Good paint with minor pin dent on front drivers guard

-TEMS suspension

Currently not registered due to a canary which requires a RWC

Only thing that needs to be done for a RWC is wipers, Battery restraint and thats it. (was done for wheels, exhaust and height but it now has stockies on it, the stock exhaust which made it too low as well)

Its either going to be traded in for 10k as is or i can sell it to someone for 10k as is and whoeevr buys it can spend 2k on rego, skirts, wheels and a decent stereo.

Either way we get a brand new XT forester :D Just thought someone might want a cheap soarer.

Hi Ni,

Before you go and purchase your XT, make sure you ring your fellow SUA member down at Subaru Docklands and let me do you a great deal.

Cheers

cool thanks steve

now... back to the point at hand before don coyote joined in the fray...

it had a major service including all belts etc about 2000kms ago.

will throw in the 3.5inch catback exhaust and HKS POD cause the garage is getting too full of crap as it is. Clarion double din that came with the car when we got it is in it but not hooked up cause i have no idea how to. You can even have the boxed 12inch sub in the boot as i have no use for it.

ok... well once again plans have changed... gf spoke to financial advisor and has decided she wants to get a house now instead of a forester (which i spose is a smarter idea, but i was looking fwd to thrashing it around the farm rods) and sell it instead of trade it in.

so... its for sale again lol

we will be registering it next week so it comes asis with rego $10,500

(can put the canon back on it for the buyer if they want or they can have it and put it on when they want.)

  • 3 weeks later...

You'd have to reuse the 260RS/R33 gear, as long as it's not destroyed.   Haha, as unfortunate as that might be it was working fine for about the first 1500km I've had the car for now.
    • Update all   thanks to the workshop manual, it lead me back to checking fuses as mentioned central locking and door open lights worked when acc was switched on. diagram attached shows two points of power 1. ACC and 2.  Batt with the later being fused (#28) I did check the fuses using a multimeter but I must have stuffed that up also. Went back and checked the batt fuse in interior fuse box and you wouldn’t believe it… a blown fuse. replaced fuse and everything is now working as it should including the climate control   thank you all with your positive insight and knowledge.
    • Where is the warning "That this thread is super old"   I just went into a 5 year old thread, went to do a reply, and couldn't see anywhere obvious a warning of it being super old
    • Duncan is correct. Pitwork (and Toyota's own cheap brand "Drive Joy") were primarily created as brands to sell other manufacturers car parts. It would be weird if Nissan sold parts for Toyota vehicles with a Nissan logo on it, so they created Pitwork to sell parts for other brans Toyota, Honda etc. They are not the same as Nissan genuine parts, although they *do* meet Nissan's standards for replacement parts. They aren't supposed to be a substitute for genuine parts, but a cheaper alternative that is better than Ebay fake parts from you-know-where.
