Hey guys,

I got a bargin Skyline on ebay lol. Its a standard White 1995 GTS-T with 60000km, i thought i would take a risk and buy this while i was in the u.k. as the owner said it was an immaculate car that had been hardley driven. I ended up paying 16k for it.

I now have the car and it is perfect like a new car! Amazing. I had it checked out by a merchanic and he said that the car was absolutly fine Do you guys think that is a bargin?? im not really sure what they go for, i mean you see them in autotrader for like 22k but do they actually sell for that?

Anyways Ebay rocks so far i have picked up:

a Brandnew F.M Intercooler

-Core Size: 600x300x100

- Overall size 780x330x100

- Inlet: 76mm

- Outlet: 76mm

- Polished Finish $350.00

a Apexi AVCR type R boost controller $700.00

a full Stainless steel 3 inch turbo back exhaust with silencer and high flo cat $900.00

and a Walbro 500hp fuel pump $200.00

Do you think i have done good?

what other parts do you think i should buy?

You still need cooler piping for your core, which will set you back another few hundred. Other than that, the car was quite a good price you picked it up for, but hows all the panel work? Any previous accident history??? With the parts your buying off ebay, a good search before ebay are the forums here, as you can pick up some nice deals, hence I think you paid just a lil too much for the AVC-R as I seen them go cheaper on here.

Other parts you need to buy, is either the SAFC or Power FC, to tune your car for the mods your putting on there. The standard ecu is crap, and will probably crap itself once you bolt the mods on, by going into R&R mode, hence the reason for SAFC or Power FC.

With those mods on, you will probably need to regap plugs, ie when you run higher boost, to something like .75mm - .8mm

All in all, welcome to the Skyline scene, and hope it all goes well for you. Hmmm by the way, this post needs to probably go in the "General" section next time for reference.

P.S, Dont skimp on fuel, you need to run premium :)

My mate is doing the cooler fitting as we speak. I noticed there are some wicked Turbo back stainless exhaust systems on ebay, that look rather cool!!

those apexi parts you where talking about dude, i think im going to get a wolf3d instead seems to do everything really, good for the money.

the car is perfect all panels are straight and looks as if it has never been driven.

best to put iridium plugs in isnt it? full the extra boosts!! :flamed:

cheers for the info buddy!

    • The 296mm rotors are the R33 turbo brakes. The 310mm rotors are the R34 turbo brakes. The calipers are nearly the same, but not. They're the same caliper but the R34 caliper has longer legs so that it sits out far enough to go over the rotor. The pads are the same for both. When you say, "I bough tsome EBC"....did you just mean pads? Or rotors? 310mm rotors fit under 17" wheels. There may be some wheels without enough clearance though. I can't fit my fingers between the barrel of my wheel and the "corners" of my R34 calipers, but there is plenty of room behind the spokes. This is on Enkei RPF1. You can fit 324mm rotors inside a 17" wheel, but I'd be willing to bet that it would be close to impossible with the Nissan/Sumitomo caliper (using an adapter, of course), because the Sumitomo caliper is fatter than the Brembo caliper that is supposed to go on the 324mm rotors.
    • Hi. Can someone tell me what brakes(and mainly WHERE) can i buy brakes on R34 GTT? I bought some EBC which SHOULD go on my car(i have GT but it has GTT brakes) but it does not fit, Brakes are "too" small(296mm) Are 310mm be good or? I have 17 inch wheel so no "big boys" but for me driving i just need one that fits and i can get here in EU/Czech.
    • Since winter isn't that harsh anymore in Poland, i will definetely drive it 365 days a year 😉. But if the snow hits i will try it for sure and let U know. Only swap i am planning to do is of course R34 GTR front 😍.
    • Hey. Very valuable information about pitwork, I will pay attention when buying any consumable parts 🙏 As for the carpets - I got a handful of information from nengun, from which it appears that indeed the carpets for the driver's side are OEM. They are not able to show me any pictures due to the long chain of different sales entities but after I place the order, as soon as the goods arrive at the nengun warehouse from which they will send the shipment to me they can send me photos and if my purchase differs from OEM I can immediately return it / cancel the purchase. I think I will give it a try 😉. Of course i'll let you know what's what as soon as i get them P.s. I know the topic is not relevant to the thread, but both nengun and amayama have these SICK 😍 trunk room lamps available. Do you know anyone who ordered them? I need to have one in my car
