Hey guys

I am after a computer so I need to sell my beloved RC drift car - its decked out with all hop ups - its a Tamiya TT01 4WD - all adjustable suspension, NSX and S15 body - s15 is painted in tranclusent purple - full on drift special - 2 sets of wheels including white Nylon drift wheels and a set of hot Volk TE37s - has a 23 Turn TZ motor - specifically for high RPM drifting - a set of slicks and Yokomo Drift tyres.Futaba reciever and controller.

Very very fast car, drifts hard and long. Has new Futaba electronic speed controller, full ball bearings, the front and rear diffs are locked with silicon -but its like rubber so it allows some slip so it acts like a proper LSD and doesnt understeer in the front. Im mad to sell it - but I really need a new PC so if anyone wants a swap and IS IN MELBOURNE - let me know

either PM me or email on [email protected]

Regards

Kim.

Well im looking for a fairly basic system

Basics are a monitor, win XP and a Processor over 1.6 GHz -

Im looking for a system just to use the net and for my media - i want a basic cos I will build it up - I just bought myself a 1997 R33 and I cant afford to buy a real good computer atm.

Sorry I cant get any Pics of it as I dont have a digi cam on me and my Company laptop is so locked down, it wudnt let me put software on it to accept a digi cam even! Anyway looking at it in real life and seeing it go is 100 times better than a picture - however saying that - if i posted a pic up of it people would be falling over themselves trying to get the car - it attracts a crowd on the street when I take it out and when I take it to the track - the bogans with there Nitro powered Holden utes and Falcon utes are like - eyyy howwd ya get it to driftt like that, thats farrken sicck - when I see them pityfully trying to get there car sideways with there open diffs and poor response from the nitro engines.

    • We have a huge update coming in the next few months, version 5 of Invision will be released. I'm holding off any changes until after this change as I'm not sure what features will be removed or introduced.
    • Yeah, plenty of air flow, there is a dedicated path that feeds the air in to the OEM intake tube behind the bumper As for a "tangible effect", maybe, but getting the pod/intake air out of the hot engine bay is worth it psychologically to me, even if it gives no performance difference, so the tangible effect in my Lizard brain saysss yessss  In the end, to me a tangible effect isn't always about performance, sometimes it a sound or a look, or even a...... feeling  Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga
    • yeah first and reverse is where you will find clutch release issues (whether hydraulic or mechanical) because the difference in revs required is the highest there; particularly changing down from 2nd to 1st when still moving. To be clearer though, it is possible that the clutch release bearing is the wrong height. This is less likely than a hydraulic issue but it is not unheard of when you are mixing and matching
    • Quite right, if you make it to that pension you deserve every cent
    • Hi all, Restoring r33 series 1 rb25det. All the heater hoses were on their way out, have replaced them and put it all back together. After testing I noticed a small leak from behind the head on the actual metal water line to the turbo when cars warm. I tried running a longer hose over it but it kept leaking...   I am about to take the (stock) manifold off again😔 to change the water line does any one have any lines they recommend? I was looking at Aeroflow Turbo Oil & Water Line Set but not sure what everyone else recommends. Car is completely stock but want to upgrade turbo eventually. it looks like ill have to disconnect a lot just to replace these lines so if there's anything else recommended to do please let me know. Thank you in advance!
