Couple of questions, Why does it have a label on it calling it a "turbochager" but not a branding? What Brand is it? If its a garrett or a name brand i am very interested but if its a chinese copy i will have to pass.

Cheers

The shaft and wheels are not balanced on the chinese ones, they only work for the shortest amount of time and then thay crap themselves.

XS power, revised not too nice at all check the thraeds below,I did.... scary shit!!

Eye opener,

thanks for the links maximumrpm kinda glad i looked.

maximumrpm to be honest do u know what ur talking about? have a look at the brand the size the specs of the turbos that u have in the link, and where they are made, do they look like a t70 or sound like a t70 to u ? if ur not capable enough to see the masive diference in these 2 turbos i have nothing to say sorry

i will understand what ur trying to do if the turbos where the same or even close

all i can do is laugh at ur links

Is this the Same T70 that "toofast2furious" in sydney sell?

http://www.toofast2furious.com/turbocharges.html

sory guys i seriously dont seem to understand what you all are talking about,

busted? wtf you all make it sound like im selling some stolen item for double the retail price, read the specs on the turbos

and u bust someone if there doing somthing wrong and you find that out, thertes nothing im doing wrong here

you poor bastard - you are just trying to sell a t70 and all you get is flaming.

this is a turbo available from xs-power and ssautochrome in america. it has a 12 months warranty and has been rebuilt with garrett internals - 600hp

the turbo that every1 says blows up from xs-power is the T3 ar50/70 - this is true. but this one is full sick - i have one on my rb20

if you dont want to buy this turbo - dont

leave this poor fella alone - it is genuine. as for the price they are US$470 ish plus US$120 ish postage which is about the $900 AUD mark.

good luck witht the sale - if i decide to go twin T70s on the rb20 i will let you know!!!!

Sorry guys, I should qualify some things. I was interested and was trying to find out who made these turbo's. The buyer was not replying to my requests for info and that combined with other members comments of this brand (no name brand?) made me suspicious. I have done some research and found out the following.

-rebuilt with garrett internals - 600hp- WRONG

-"the turbo that every1 says blows up from xs-power is the T3 ar50/70"- Doesn't give you confidence that the other models in there range will be any different?

But......infairness, It is new, it is unused and I wish him all the best!

Yeah...guys.,.if you have nothing else good to say just let it..ignore it..he's not trying to scum anyone for sure.

T70 has the same spec as the Garrett T60-1,.same internals and is made by MASTERPOWER which used by the same company "GARRETT "..

this one actually capable of handling more than 600HP..pretty much has the same internals as the garrett T60-1.

I know coz i did my search...and YES...I HAVE ONE on my R33.

cost $1200 brand new...$900 is reasonable..but lower it down a bit i'd say..got mine brand new for less.

good luck selling it dude.

    • You just need to remove the compressor housing, not the entire turbo. I would not be drilling and tapping anything with the housing still on anyways.
    • So, I put my boat on a boat. First of all, I'm going to come out and say it. Why is Tasmania not considered a holy goal, an apex that all road-legal modified cars go to, to experience? This place is an absolute wonderland of titanic proportions. If people are already getting club runs for once in a lifetime 30 person cruises to Tassy then I've never seemed to see it. It is like someone replaced the entire place with an idyllic wonderland for cars, and all of the people living there with paid actors who are kind, humble, and friendly. Dear god. After doing a lap of almost all of the place I've found that it's a great way to find out all of the little things that the car isn't doing quite right and a great way to figure it all out. All in all, I drove for 4 hours a day for a week and nothing broke. I didn't even need to open the engine bay. This is by all means a great success, but it has left me with a list of things to potentially address. I also now have a 3D printed wheel fitment tool which annoyingly hasn't got any threads in it to actually assemble it. I might be able to tape it together to check the sizing I actually want to use, but it'll likely involving pulling the shocks out to properly measure travel at least at the front, and probably raise the car while I'm at it, at least in the rear. I scraped on quite a few things and I'm not sure how else to go about it. I was taking anything with a bump at what felt like 89 degree angles. And address those 10 other tasks. And wash the car. God damn it is dirty. And somehow, the weather was perfect the entire time - And because I was on the top of Mt Wellington it turns out it was very much about to freeze up there. I did something I typically never do and took some photos up there in what must have been -10 and the foggy felt like suspended ice, rather than mere fog. If you own a car in Australia, you owe it to yourself to do it.
    • Damn that was hilarious, and a bit embarrassing for skylines in general 😂 vintage car life ey. That R33 really stomped. Pretty entertaining stuff
    • Hi, I have a r32 gtr transmission. Does any of you guys have an idea how much power it will hold with the billet center plate and stock gearset? At what power level and use did yours brake with or without billet plate? Thanks, Oystein Lovik
    • Saw this replica police car based on a Mitsubishi Starion XX parked next to a 'police box' (it's literally a box) in Hirohata, Himeji City in Hyogo prefecture the other day. It's owned by Morii-san who is a local Mitsubishi Starion enthusiast. According to a local radio station blog post, he always wanted to make a police car himself based on ones he saw in his favourite Manga comics.  As it's illegal to modify a car to look like a police car and drive on the road, Morii-san tried many times to get permission from Aboshi police station headquarters nearby. They refused initially by after they got tired of that they granted him permission. However, the car can only be displayed on private property and obviously can't be registered as long as the police livery is present. The car was completed at a cost of 1.5 million yen (US$ 10,000) in addition to the car cost. A location was chosen outside Hirohata Police box where the car can easily been seen from the street. Morii-san has two other Starion road cars, both widebody GSR-VRs.
