Hi mate, ive been quoted $80 per rail over here in Melbourne. Its not too expensive. With bigger cars (eg. skylines, commodores etc. etc) you have a bit of room to play with the rails so it is quite easy.

Shipping to Adelaide can hopefully be left under $100 or there abouts.

let me know if you're interested and i'll organise it for you.

P.S Here's a picture of these seats installed in my Exa. (obviously they were retrimmed)

Those generic rails will not go into a skyline.

U need to get second hand recaro or bride rails for an R33 and then modify the bolt holes on those rails to match these seats.

i've got a pair of red ones in my 33 if anyone want pics let me no!

Id really appreciate if you could add pics.

My installation was $80 per seat in my little Nissan Exa so I wouldnt imagine cost would be too much more than that (this was done at a seat retrimmers and wasnt hard at all by the look of it)

Greg

cost me $250 a seat they needed new rails on my r33 but my seats came with rails, will get the pics  with in the next to days

All the seats that i have sold and people have installed which include a few silvias, 180's, pulsars, gti-r's, and my exa the installers have used half the universal rails and half your stock rails and just aligned them and welded accordingly. My next car I will do it myself. It really isnt that hard.

Yo Nozilla,

I think those GT Autosound dudes would know where to go. They probably could do it, ill ask em tuesday.

We can go halfs man, save freight. I was going to get passenger, but ill just go for driver, to save money.

u too play cs? hit me us i do as well - cs 1.6/dod. sorry bit off topic.

With regards to seats, i just want opinion on the quality of the material used as "apparently" after quite a bit of use they have cotton ball fluff appearing on them. Not that these do.

oh btw grey, are the seats for wide bums or narrow bums and is the seat tight or not. From the looks of the pics, they are wide.

hey dude i play CS source.. Back on topic i don't think it's does these seats "should" well mine is are made from microfibre so no "fluff balls" their great seats, but should use seats covers as the side of the seats tend to wear out from alll the goin in and out of the seats..

CS Source BOOM Head Shot!!

Doug: "lets go for a jog."

Kyle: "Doug, Why are you holding a knife?"

Doug: "So i can run FASTER.. DEERRR!!"

it';s quite comfortable to say the least, sits a bit higher than factory seats(pending on rails i presume), but supports alot better in corners etc.. no problems with it getting engineered and looks hot everyone asks me about my seats, i got'em for a BARGAIN.. so yeah was thinkin about embroidding RECARO on them. lol but nah dun wanna be a poser lol

PS still need some1 wo can upload pics with their phone to show u guys the finished result :D

I rang up willshires today, they said $250 to install per seat. They modify the seats rails to fit the stock ones.

Trying to find out other cheaper places.

If you can do it for $80, can you get them done so that they fit in the R33?

The stock seats rails bolt to the floor at different evevation points and the stock seats go in at an angle into the stock seat rails. The generic seat rails are for a flat floor plan (which the r33 isent). Easiest way to get these seats to fit ur R33 is to get secondhand recaro or sparco rails suited for the r33 and then modify them, otherwise you will never get the seats to sit at the right level or straight.

These are the seats in my car

    • ok so if i wanted to go 18's i would go for 8's  in front 30+ or 32+ off set at front and the back 9 would be ok? what offset should i aim for.. then can i do some  hunting for wheel rim choices..    If i get this - will this fit all around: Size: 18 x 8.5 +37 - n what tyres size tyre should i get for front n back?
    • Absolute f*cking nightmare. I had to take breaks constantly, and I was always pissed off when I got home. The line split in Italy on day 2 (we drove from the Netherlands), lol. Driving any narrow European town was... well, sh*t.   Appreciate it man. Here, I'll just drop a favourite from the load I took on Saturday.   I'll update here when things happen with the car, the thing is, with stock power and almost everything chassis-wise taken care of, there really are no problems. 268,000kms now and counting.
    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
    • Hey mate,  I have a set, one is slightly damaged but wont be noticable once installed.  Shoot me a message if your still after them
    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
