I Had my rotors replaced (supplied by me) and full service done by HighTech recently...

They went over the car and gave me honest advice on things that may need attention, they went above and beyond what I would normally expect from a service. I drove out of the workshop feeling confident I got what I paid for.

The price was very good also IMO.

These are my opinions and mine only, I speak for no one else.

This forum is not the same as it used to be with people like you on it, atleast have some balls to backup your claims instead of posting useless bs.

SR910,

I have the ability for air temp temp compensation, thermo fan control etc with the PFC :(

Nitrous, rotational idle and the others don't bother me. I would really like dataloging though.

For 1k for the PFC & H/C + a $100 tune to get me on my way is a damn good bargain. :D

Fair enough Black32.. I do remember that happening, but was it John who did it or someone else at TT... there is a reason John did not want to work there anymore....

yeah rob its been a long time. What have you been up to these days. Obviously no more skyline but damn a 1jz ma70 Supra. not a bad subtitute. take it easy on the street.

Me not much... working and more working :P

Yep car is a good substitute, though it seems to also be an endless money pit lol.

Other than that all is good, oh and if anyone here is the toolhead magna driver that decided to tailgate me with high beams on up chandlers hill tonight then F U u stupid fool.

So you admit you do not know who did it.

I also do not get mates rates as you put it, i pay the same as everyone else. But thanks for enlightening me as to how many jerks are around adelaide. I will refrain from posting any more so i don't ruin all your fun

get off of it.....

I said cant say who did it, due to not wanting to be slapped with any law suits. Its a little thing called slander....look it up.

I didnt "put it" that you get mates rates, simply that :

knowing someone dont mean jack sheit to the rest of us....

You said you know John through your dad. Does that assure us all we get the same service?

AS for the jerks comment....pfft. Dont make me go there, just keep on posting and let the forum know your vast knowledge....[insert stupid girl giggle]

have a nice day :D

Basically at the end of the day all the guys on here have their Workshops picked out and things are not going to change!

Don't try to come on here free plugging a workshop that you have only been to once and know nothing about him/them or previous work history

If you had a good experience from your dad's mate then congrats but don't wate our time posting up about second rate work shops!

I say just leave it to pro's like Wilall and Tilbrooks to take care of our cars.

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
