hey guys, i got a 32, n like most imports its missing decent sound hardware, i got s shitty casette deck that only plays wen i turn of my head lights, is this a dodgy wiring job or sumthing more sinister?

:bahaha: maybe the former owner wanted to listen to a tape on the way hame at night, so he wired them to the headlights?! thats crazy but some people are crazy.

pull it out and try to follow the wiring..maybe theres some connection between the deck and the lights in the fuse box..who knows

The accessory wire will be hooked upto the illumination circuit. So, when you turn your lights on, your stero gets power. Fairly common mistake

I think he means when he turns his headlights OFF, as f is no where near n on the key board.

Id still say dodgy wiring.

seen it, where the illum wire is mistaken for an earth, soon as you turn on your parkers your radio goes out
