My car came with a cheapo no name bleed value and it really struggled to hold boost even at 9psi. I've since upgraded to a Greddy Profec B Spec II which is a lot better, although when running 12psi, it still looses a little boost at the top end which is annoying (falls to around 10psi approaching redline).

Not sure if i'm expecting too much for it to hold boost all the way to the redline, but it's still a heap better than the bleed valve.

Definately money well spent...

Ive used the Turbosmart bleed valve set up before changing to a Blitz dual SBC controller. The difference was like night and day. The Blitz held the boost beautifully at the desired setting and didnt waver until redline. Ive now got a Turbosmart E Boost which is just as good as the Blitz.

By the way the E Boost is for sale if youre looking to buy one.

Shaun.
