That is easily fixed by installing a hood that opens forward AND installing bonnet pins. I'm surprised they didn't do that, with so much money put into the car already. I want to make a hood like that for my 'line, but it won't be for a while yet methinks.

no, with two pins at the front it is effectively as securely held as by hinges.
