We are running a Bosch fuel pump group buy!

Brand New

Bosch 040 $230

Bosch 044 $335

Group Buy closes early next week.

All Bosch parts come with a 12 month warranty and a tax invoice as required by Australian law.

Please ensure that all sellers you deal with are offering you this service as selling without a warranty or invoice leaves you without any recourse if there is ever a problem with your purchase (it also means that the seller is probably not paying tax).

Please have a look at our past customer feedback here: http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...rep&CODE=totals (Click on “shy180”)

Please email me to arrange your inclusion.

Thanks!

greg,

received your pm (although i don't remember asking you for info on bosch pumps), and am quite happy to stay in the group buy that i am already involved in with gr33dy.

cheers

Hi Thommo

I have noticed your derogatory remarks about me and our business you have posted in Paul’s Bosch group buy thread.

All our Bosch parts come with a 12 month warranty and a tax invoice as required by Australian law.

Does Paul offer this service? If so good luck to him, he is selling the same product at a higher price and you have to wait for some weeks before he gets it in.

We on the other hand are cheaper, quicker and offer the required warranty, invoice and have a great reputation for excellent after sales service

Simple market economics will work this one out!

I welcome your reply.

PS I have also been a member of SAU for longer than he has:

So it might be best if you stop telling me I am "only here for the cash"!

You may have been here for longer, but can you tell me how many of your 65 posts you have made that don't concern selling something?

You are probably right, i should not have been so to the point in the other thread, but i was quite annoyed with being contacted like this.

Would be happy to chat in pm if you would prefer to keep it out of this thread.

James

Hi James

I apologize for pm’ing you but thought you might be interested in the same products at a cheaper price (and quicker etc)

Pm me your number and I will call you if my selling here really bothers you!

Cheers

Greg

    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow

    • Welcome to SAU, what are you looking at buying?
    • I checked the injectors again (1 and 2, since they’re easiest to access) to make sure they weren’t clogged. Even though the entire fuel system had been cleaned, I wanted to be certain. Everything looked clean, so I reinstalled and connected everything. When I started the car to confirm everything was okay, it immediately revved up high, so I shut it off straight away. I checked to see if I’d missed a vacuum hose or something, but everything was connected. On the second attempt, the car ran without the high idle, but I noticed a distinct “compressed air” sound coming from the engine bay. Tracing the sound, I pushed injector #6 forward slightly and the noise stopped — it turned out it wasn’t seated properly, despite the fuel rail being bolted down. While holding it in place, the car idled steadily without stalling and ran for over 5 minutes. At this point, I pulled all six injectors out just in case I hadn’t seated them correctly or dirt had gotten onto the O-rings. Unfortunately, I discovered that I had damaged 3 out of 6 injectors (the OEM 270cc ones) during installation. So yes, this was my fault. Since only the pintle caps were damaged, I’ve ordered a Fuel Injector Service Kit from NZEFI to refurbish them. In the meantime, I reinstalled my new injectors – the car now idles fine for over 15 minutes without stalling. I have not attempted to drive it so far. It’s not perfect yet, as it hesitates when the throttle is pressed, but it’s a big improvement. Unplugging the IACV with the new injectors idles at around 800rpm, even with the IACV screw tightened fully. But this is probably due to tune.
