hey guys well my stagea is not very well at the moment and after blowin heaps of oil out the breathers, i did a comp test and 100psi on cylinder 3 which means rebuild time (40% leaking on leakdown test).

so as a stroke of luck i find out there is a nice combo for sale in perth and i am about to pick the goodies up tonight :)

its a full JUN stroker combo.

jun 2.7L stroker crank

jun rods

jun cosworth pistons

nismo bearings

jun oil pump

272/11.5mm lift cams

jun valve springs

titanium retainers

1000cc injectors

jun big end bolts

jun cam gears

hks 1.2mm metal gasket kit

trust t04 s/s manifold

and then im purchasing in the coming weeks, a t04z turbo unsure on exhuast housing size atm, and also a wastegate , braided lines, another 044 fuel pump, hks fuel rail, 100mm+ intercooler, autronics CDI, msd coils, nismo mounts

and i picked up some brakes today that i ordered before i found out the motor was buggered :(

nice alloy hat dba 5000 series front slotted 330mm rotors to suit brembos

and dba 4000 330mm rear slotted ones

with bendix pads

so keep a watch for some pics of the goodies, and some decent power figures i hope :)

the combo was chosen by some guru at JUN (forgot his name) and they reckon its rated for 750-800hp at wheels with a big single t88, but im aiming for 500hp normal use and 600hp when pushed (i know the gearbox wont last) :O

ill keep ya's posted

:)

Brad

StageZilla what sort of price would a package like yours cost someone as I'm guesing it would be out of my budget?

well brand new i worked out on greenline, without any freight, gst or import duties, around 21K + cams and retainers as i couldnt find them on there. and thats the stroker combo and jun pump etc, NOT turbo or extras (just the first list i wrote)

heres a few piccies of the trust manifold, jun rods, cosworth jun pistons, the jun cams, jun oil pump, jun stroker crank, jun cams and gears, titanium retainers, 1000cc injectors and the dba front 5000 series rotors, etc etc ;)

enjoy

Brad ;)

    • What's on the front of their building?
    • Jax Tyres Smithfeild Ive gone there a few time, well for tyres. on my 3rd visit I spoke to the dude and told how i just got slugged for rotors, brakes ect. His reply was golden; have you read whats on the front of the building. Never forgot it.       before picture, good friend got all these goodies installed.  Well time to study, servicing, maintenance all before this weekend driving lesson.
    • Hello, first of, I’ve looked at many threads on this code but none have helped me, if you know one that will help me feel free to post a link.   Now to my problem. Recently I was driving and noticed the check engine light came on. I went home and did the test to see what code it gave. I got the 21 code but everything seems fine with the car, no misfire, idle is good, acceleration is the same as when I bought it. I mean no signs of obvious failure. If no misfire is happening I can rule out the coil packs right? Which is about 98% of posts saying it is. If anyone has had this happen and found the issues let me know please. No other lights are on.   The car WAS due for an oil change. I since then changed it so idk if that triggers code 21. Either way it hasn’t turned off.
    • Your both right, it may hold a bit longer then.  Soon I need to change the synchros, should I fit the billet plate while I'm at it? Or just a waste of money?
    • Some of the east coast US Stagea got together this past weekend at Lime Rock Park in CT for Grid Life Circuit Legends. This is probably my favorite pic of the shoot with @Morgan.Mundahl on IG. Hope we get more stags out next year! i think I spotted 5 other than my own at the event.
