just wonderin if the gear ratios of a non - turbo turbo gearbox are the same as the turbo gearbox's. and is there any major differences between the two boxes?

if anyone knows of the actual ratios of the non turbo box, that would also be great

thanks guys

I could be wrong here and depending on what ur asking this question for this might not help - But i replaced my rb20de box wih the rb20det box with no hassles and there seems to be no real difference.

Cheers, i wanted to know this too...

How does the gearing seem? the same?

ATM, i'd say my r32 GTS would top out at 220-230kmh (by looking at the tacho and speedo... haven't actually hit that speed yet, but theoretical... by putting it in 5th, revving to 4k and looking to speedo (being that redline is ~8000rpm... so just double)... is this the same as your's ?

check out skylinesdownunder...

the r32 spec page is... nice

in my diggings (including these forums - use the search button) it appears as though there are 3 r32 boxes.

the coveted GT-R (I want one)

the GTS-4

and the rest....

the GTS-4 has different ratios, same box, and I understand that the GT-R box bolts right into the other models (correct me if I'm wrong).

ranked in order of strength, too...
