Ladies and gentlman

after a long wait of 2 months 1week 6 days and a few houres my car has finally arrived in the sunny state of NSW. all the work was done by my cousins workshop DRIFT LINE RACING so the f%^$@r took his sweet time doin my car.By the way he's workshops in melbourne he does excellent work and if you got a nissan, which most of the people in this forum have pay him a visit, top quality work at very resonable prices. anyway back to my car the thing came out lookin like a sx machine. at the moment the thing has 227kw@rw with an rb20det and she flies cause it totals just under 1090kg. i know she flies cause i've owned two skylines and one had 247kw@rw and my current car shits all over it just goes to go power to weight is all that matters.

well let me know what you think. i included some before and after shots. the difference is rather dramatic i think

Cheers

anthony

Good effot something different

how much did you spend

+ mods

james

in total the car, looking the way it does now, cost me including rego, engineers and engine mods a little over $14000 and the car originally cost me $5500 including transport from QLD to Vic. so realistically the car to get it how it is now cost me bout $11500( not including engineers, rego and insurance).

My cousin does the conversion on the 180's the silvias and the s14 for the 180's it costs

2750 with change over pannels

3500 without change over pannels

The car is running a 5 stud pattern with r32 brakes all round

the car came damaged but hell for 5000 u cant go wrong

engine mods are :

The engine is your standard rb20det with a metal head gasket.

It's got a garret t3/t4 turbo

3inch zorst

air filter

microtec ltx12

apexi avcr

550cc injectors

fuel pump

stanless sleel manifold

FMIC

BOV

supra radiator with twin thermo fans

and all this is runnin of 16psi and now that it's had a good tune it's got 241.3rwkw so i'm rather happy with her.

Cheers

anthony

    • UPDATE: Yes the GSP Axles are compatible. I installed it on my R34 today and they are working a treat! Turns out that the S13, S14, S15, and 200 SX all used the same axles as the HR34, and ER34 NA models. Which is 2 bolt x 3 pairs.
    • Also build this EH ute with 370z motor and gearbox with a couple of turbos just for fun.
    • Got the passenger door on plus the master cylinder and booster. Loaded up to take it home. At home, the colour changes a lot in the light.
    • Nothing cheap, but I have seen the AC Hydraulic DK13HLQ which is pretty close to what you're asking for. The problem is the hydraulic cylinder mandates that the back of the jack be a certain height and Skylines have fairly deep inset floor jack points. A more certain and cheap option is to get some nominal 2x10 inch lumber boards and have one board be 1.5 feet, the other board 3 feet. Glue it all together with lots of clamps to maintain pressure. Make two of these. The ramp suggested above is a good idea, it takes quite a bit of clutch slip to get over each of the boards. I only need the first ~1.5 inches for my low profile jack on a standard ride height car but a lowered car you want to go up to the full ~3-3.5 inches. Paint it or store indoors if you want it to last.
    • Ok. And Nistune? I read (here too) mainly on Stagea threads that it can by "turn off" with Nistune. But they say they still had the sensor plug in. Next week iam going to the Nistune(and other ECUs) tuner so i can finally make it work. I drove the car home and apart from the cut it drove great. No misfire no smoke no hesitation or rough start...so hoping it is this sensor that is missing
