Import Registration

hey again, well now that i find out that the R32 GTS-t was never officially imported, only the 32 GT-R, is there anything special i would need to know before i purchase the car, like do i need the compliance papers and stuff? or would a RWC be enough? because i havent asked the fella im buying it off if he had a compliance certificate with him, but he does have a RWC, so would i only need the RWC to get the rego transferred or do i need to get the compliance certificate as well? help would be great

Does it have a compliance AU compliance plate on the car?

I take it it has not been registed in AU before.

you need import approval and a compliance certificate.. The guy you are buying the car off should have both.

thanks, i was under the impression that if it had a current QLD roadworthy certificate it would be able for the rego to be transferred, so i need the rwc and the compliance certificate for the transfer papers?

Ask him for all these documents. It is best to have them just in case you might need them in the future.

If the car has already been registered in QLD with car number plates, then you won't need those papers. If not, YES you'll need them.
