Hows it going guys, ive just been speaking to one of the organisers from nissansilvia.com and we decided that we should post this cruise on this forum aswell.

DATE - SUNDAY 6th of NOVEMBER

TIME - FIRST MEET AT 10AM AND WILL BE LEAVING AT 11:00. So if you don't want to come real early then you can rock up closer to 11, but we will be heading out maps the whole time and leaving promptly at 11.

We have a lot of cruising to do, so I would suggest bringing a full tank of juice so that you don't run out during the cruise and have to fill up again, but we'll be going to a big variety of spots, and it will be a very very nice cruise, I hope people are up for 5 main meets with an estimated finish time of about 5 or 6pm.

If you want to come please PM me and i am happy to pm you back with the meet point.. So far from the large response there is expected over 100 cars to arrive

Hope to see you guys there

Peace

  • 2 weeks later...

hey it's good to see heaps of us turned up! lol

Not a bad turn out for the Silvia's.

Good day for it too.

Just a reminder to anyone who's thinking of organising a cruise, drive it first or be familiar with were your going! Don't try and take 70 lowered cars up a country dirt road...

the bloke in the s5 rx-7 would have been f_cking pised off, damn nice looking rotar.

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
