Went in this morning. It could possibly be done by today but since I rather have it running perfectly without any skips or beats to it, I've said they can have it for another day for it to be tuned properly.

If it is all good by the end of today and I can pick it up this arvo, I'll be happy!

You'll be surprised with Milanco then. Last time (which is the first time) the car was in their workshop. They said they'll have it ready for me on Friday afternoon for me to pick up. They then rang me and said it'll be done by the next day (the next day being thursday).

They rang me back again on the wednesday, said they had a few problems with the turbo cause it didnt fit, so they lent me a turbo for the duration of the time my turbo was in sydney being rebuilt and high flowed.

Thursday afternoon, I was able to go to the workshop and pickup the car and drive out without any problems.

Although these guys DIDNT have to lend me a turbo, they've actually done alot more for me as a customer/client then I've expected and with the care they've put not only into my car but also into the business of having me as a customer, they've done a hell of a lot better then Hardcore!!!!!

I dont usually recommend workshops to anyone but thats probably based on the amount of problems workshops have had. But Milanco have done far better then any other workshop I've been to and they are highly recommended by me.

Even still, I drop my car off at the workshop at 7.30 this morning and Brock was more then happy to quickly give me a lift up to the train station so that I could catch the train to work.

Now that is also good customer service & care!

News is....

BOSCH 044 fuel pump will not fit in the fuel tank as it's 13mm to wide.

Not surprised.....isn't the 044 an external pump and the 040 internal?

Pictures of the turbo rebuilt & high flowed taken by Milanco for me.

Of course, the cleaner one is mine compared to the turbo that was running on my car while mine was off getting rebuilt & high flowed by GCG.

Edited by r33skyliner

lookin for over 300hp or hopefully around the 240-260kw mark.

Cant really do much right now.

If i boost it up more with the new Apexi AVC-R that's in it, it'll ping.

Once the intercooler is on, it'll be fine to boost up.

But need to really upgrade the ECU they said.

phase #2 is a FMIC (600x300x76) hybrid style one and also a new front bar for the fitting of the FMIC.

phase #3 will be of course the ECU upgrade.

Get a PowerFC, you won't be disapointed. Going alot cheaper these days (Group buy on this forum & www.Nengun.com are selling them at good prices also)

I have just about finished my engine mods & got good results so far.

- New Garrett GT30 BB Turbo (500HP)

- New HKS cast manifold

- New HKS copy 50mm Wastegate & screamer pipe

- Apexi GT Spec FMIC

- Jasma 3.5" Exhaust (soon to arrive is a Greddy/Trust 4" titanium system

- K&N Pod filter.

- New Nismo 550cc Injectors

- New OS Giken Twin Plate clutch

- New Apexi PowerFC

- New Splitfire coils

- New Z32 AFM

- NewBosch 044 pump & surgetank in the boot.

- Blitz Dual SBC (electronic boost controller)

Result 285rwkw@20psi. I currently am using a 10psi wastegate spring, once I change it over to a 14.5 or 15 & put the new exhaust on, I should hit 300RWKW.

What Injectors are you using? & are you using a Z32 AFM?

    • Hi...so a "development" here aswell The swap is "done" and car went "test drive" BUT it seems the clutch(maybe gearbox?) is a little bit sad? I bought this clutch kit https://justjap.com/products/xtreme-heavy-duty-organic-clutch-flywheel-kit-nissan-skyline-r31-r32-r33-push-type "Problem" is that the first gear is hard to put into and it seems that the clutch is not disengaged. It was not the problem with the old clutch...(or like sometime the first gear would not get as easy specialy when the fluid was cold) So? Can it be like...bad "install" or is the clutch wrong ((it should not have been) i done research to get the right one) Or is this "normal" with new clutch and needs to be break in?
    • @Duncan I can try  and thanks i did not thought about VIN and part numbers for 33/34. @GTSBoy yeah it looks like iam gonna do that
    • Forgot to include this but this is the mid section of my steering rack that looks like it has a thread/can be turned with that notch mentioned in the post:
    • Hey everyone, Wanted to pick some brains about this issue I'm having with rebuilding my 33 rack (PN is 49001-19U05). All of the tutorials/videos I've seen online are either R34 or S Chassis racks which seem to be pretty straightforward to disassemble but this process doesnt carry over to my rack. Few of the key differences that I've noted The pinion shaft on the other racks bolt on with 3 torx bolts: Whereas my rack bolts on with 2 allen head bolts: These changes are pretty inconsequential but the main difference is how you pull the actual rack out of the housing. The other skyline/s chassis racks can be taken out by tapping the rack out of the body with a socket and it just slides right out. I'm unable to do that with my rack because there's a hard stop at the end that doesn't let the seal/shaft be tapped out. Can also see a difference in the other end of the rack where mine has a notch that looks like you're able to use a big wrench to unthread 2 halves of the rack whereas the other racks are just kinda set in with a punch. My rack: Other racks: TLDR; Wanted to know if anyone has rebuilt this specific model of steering rack for the R33 and if there were any steps to getting it done easier or if I should just give this to a professional to get done. Sorry if this post is a bit messy, first one I've done.
    • I would just put EBC back on the "I would not use their stuff" pile and move on.
