Hey Guys,

After talking to my Old man's accountant, we found out, that if I sell my Stagea within one year of owning it, I will have to pay capital gains tax. No thanks! ;)

Although I do have one way of getting around it :(

With the car landing in Brisbane on Tuesday, the countdown has begun...and of course, no countdown is complete without a shopping list :) Let the spending begin...

- CGC Highflow

- R32/33 GTR FMIC

- Split Dump (already has Fujitsubo exhaust)

- DFA / IEBC

- Auto trans. Cooler

- SITC

- Bodykit (Prob. DAYZ)

- S2 Rear Lights

- Clear Indicators

- Pioneer Kevlar Splits

- Pioneer Headunit

- Dual Pioneer 12" Subs

- Velor Re-Trim

Thats probably about it for starters! :D I want a manual, but dont think I can justify the cost of it :( Hoping for 13's with that gear. Lemme know what you think

Cheers,

Chris

BTW: I have a few interested people for the Stagea, we may just have a sale yet :)

Mate, cant justify the manual, but it will make the car much better

Ditch these parts and you can/will afford it

- DFA (save 100+tune cost)

- Auto trans. Cooler (save ~200, ditch when manual)

- SITC (save 250+tune)

- Bodykit (Prob. DAYZ) (save ~1k+)

- S2 Rear Lights (save 500)

- Clear Indicators (save 250-300)

- Pioneer Kevlar Splits (save ~250)

- Dual Pioneer 12" Subs (save 700 as you need amp aswell)

- Velor Re-Trim (save what, 1k?)

Thats about 4k in NOT(opinionated opinion) needed stuff!

Manual conversion

GB - 1500 with shifter and transfer

std ecu with plug - 350

master/slave/lines/pedals - 500

labour - 700 or so for 2 days turnaround

..... thats with 1k change from your 4k spending spree.....

BTW if you dont mind me asking, for an L plater, where does your funding come from?

Yeah thats always a topic for conversation B) My funding comes from the good ol' Golden Arches (yes yes McDonalds) I have worked my ass off for the past two years to be able to afford this stagea :( Plus I'm a crew trainer and I love working there, plenty of hours, OK money and loads of time to talk to your mates there :D

    • Couldn't help but share the pics of my $350 "Hella" oil level sensor that arrived from totalengines via eBay today. It's like they're not even trying anymore ... And I think that's sad.
    • I've got a 2011 J50 that I imported six years ago. The unmodified factory AV system date and time has always been correct ( Japanese timezone of course ) up until last month. About two weeks ago, at engine start, the system wished me a happy new year ( in Japanese of course ). I can't think of anything that would make the system think that the date had changed, unless the GPS component has failed/reset somehow ? I checked the GPS reception in the system settings, and it can still see the satellites. Has any other J50 owner had this happen ?  It's no biggie, just annoying that it tells me the wrong date anytime I start the engine. 😅
    • Love following your adventures on IG, hopefully if you're still around in Japan when we visit again wouldn't mind going for a few beers with you (that's if you're keen on hearing how I hate Nissans).
    • ok so if i wanted to go 18's i would go for 8's  in front 30+ or 32+ off set at front and the back 9 would be ok? what offset should i aim for.. then can i do some  hunting for wheel rim choices..    If i get this - will this fit all around: Size: 18 x 8.5 +37 - n what tyres size tyre should i get for front n back?
    • Absolute f*cking nightmare. I had to take breaks constantly, and I was always pissed off when I got home. The line split in Italy on day 2 (we drove from the Netherlands), lol. Driving any narrow European town was... well, sh*t.   Appreciate it man. Here, I'll just drop a favourite from the load I took on Saturday.   I'll update here when things happen with the car, the thing is, with stock power and almost everything chassis-wise taken care of, there really are no problems. 268,000kms now and counting.
