Assembly is extra.

Assembly isn't simply an assemble. You measure then order bearings etc to suit. Or you start machining to get the clearance you want, thats known as blueprinting.

or... you could just slap it together and hope for the best. :)

I will have to check my last invoice, from memory I paid around $1300 for boring, honing, acid cleaning and decking of the block, crank linish and balance, conrod close and hone and complete head service (RB26)

ive been quoted $2400 for all my machine work. that includes bottom end ballance, drill bearings for oilling, prep rods and crank, bore and hone, O'Ring head, decking, acid bath, port and polish head, cc chambers, new guides and seals. its all got to be done.
