man i can not believe this...i been waiting for soooo long , and i m soooo disappointed now...

i dont know what to say ...even i dont look like no wogs or aussies but i m still worry about my car

but yeah ...depend on how many people are going , i might still go , or is there enough time to organize a cruze to go some where esle?

and Jeff , u spend so much efforts on this cruze ....but....

thanx for the call anyway

i m thinking ...mayb we should still meet up at the same place same time...then decide...because people got that day free anyway...just a suggestion

I think it's too early to make the call to cancel. Wait until later this week and se what happens. Also, you can still meet at Homebush (or another place) and then decide what you want to do and where you want to go. Don't let these clwons who are acting like animals stop people from doing what they normally do on any given weekend.

Could even cruise inland and avoid the beaches altogether.

^^ yeah jeff if u want we could do that

i would even be keen to just meet every1 there and take pics and stuff than go home

that s a bloody good idea actually!! lol

~(@)~

yeah~~Jeff you got our feed backs now...what do u say?

Guys thankyou for all your support, i am as dissapointed as u all. this makes me so mad coz ive been waitin for this for so long and i know u all did too.

if you all want we can still all meet up, just to have a chat and meet everyone. im happy to do that. from there we can decide if we still wanna go elsewhere.

Hey guys,

Very dissapointed you giys and girls aren't coming up for the day, but I can understand your concerns.

ALthough, I don't really agree with you writing that just because you spoke to your relatives up here that the riots are on Jeff. Thats meerly hearsay.

The Newy guys will prob still be cruising anyway. We know our town, and the fact that the exact same msgs have been spread around the central coast, newcastle and the gold coast says to me that copy cats are just trying to start shit because of the events of last sunday at cronulla.

We'll def have to do this all again in the New Year. All this will die down quickly I'm sure.

i am really sorry, but i just want everyone to be safe. im not saying that the newcastle ppl are like that, i have been there 100s of time and all you ppl are very friendly, but you have to understand that it may happen.

wat would you think if you were one of those ppl who wanted to participate in the riot and all of tha sudden you say 30+ hotted up cars coming, wat would you think straight away, u would think we are der to start trouble + not only that imagine how many cops are gonna be on alert to all the ppl coming in to newcastle???

we will be stopped im sure before we even get there.

seriously, wen u see skylines specially in big groups with all this shit going on, and u see them going in to town, wat will run through ur mind????

Look i just want every1 to be safe, and hope it doesnt happen for everyones sake!

i am against all racism, and im very sad this is happenin, but its der now. we just have to deal with it!

we will all meet im sure, just not this time :)

we looking forward of meeting you guys in the future :)

PEACE

Anyone who is still keen, could meet up with us in the arvo at speers point park. this is not in newcastle so there will be no problem (20min+ from Nobbys) :) It's a shame to cancel after so much organising. pm me if interested.

Indeed!

An excellant idea for anyone still interested!

Look up Speers Point on WhereIs?.

Its on the northern part of Lake Macquarie for those that don't know. Just west of Warners Bay for anyone who has done cruises up this way before.

Beautiful place. Its where my parents moved to some 18 years ago now :)

Anyway, as Chris said, PM him. Would be great to meet the brave :)

Sorry to hear that Jeff! Especially after all the effort you have put into this!!!!

Its probably not the best time to go to Newcastle! Lets hope it all goes away and we can go on this cruise soon...

I'm thinking i might go up putty rd on sunday instead... its away from any beaches where all the trouble seems to be...

lol.. why isn't it the best time to go to newie?... some bullshit message shouldn't deter you!

words out of your mouth darlin!

lol

I personally think the cruise should still go ahead as the newy guys are almost certain that there wont be riots where we are cruising to and we wont be going near them .. so you might want to re-think the cancellation decision

    • Hello, sorry for being late to join the discussion, but my clock just died on me.   Ive tried to look at Michaels digital clock repair.docx and it doesnt work maybe the file has expired.   Please let me know if you can re upload it or take some youtube videos to show us how to get the clock installed? thanks
    • I thought that might be the case, thats what I'll start saving for. Thanks for the info
    • Ps i found the below forum and it seems to be the same scenario Im dealing with. Going to check my ECU coolant temp wire tomorrow    From NICOclub forum: s1 RB25det flooding at start up Thu Apr 11, 2013 7:23 am I am completely lost on this. Car ran perfectly fine when I parked it at the end of the year. I took the engine out and painted the engine bay, and put a fuel cell with an inline walbro 255 instead of the in tank unit I had last year. After reinstalling everything, the engine floods when the fuel pump primes. if i pull the fuel pump fuse it'll start, and as soon as I put the fuse back in it starts running ridiculously rich. I checked the tps voltage, and its fine. Cleaned the maf as it had some dust from sitting on a shelf all winter, fuel pressure is correct while running, but wont fire until there is less than 5psi in the lines. The fuel lines are run correctly. I have found a few threads with the same problem but no actual explanation of what fixed it, the threads just ended. Any help would be appreciated. Rb25det s1 walbro255 fuel pump nismo fpr holset hx35 turbo fmic 3" exhaust freddy intake manifold q45tb q45 maf   Re: s1 RB25det flooding at start up Fri Apr 12, 2013 5:07 am No, I didn't. I found the problem though. There was a break in one of the ecu coolant temp sensor wires. Once it was repaired it fired right up with no problems. I would have never thought a non working coolant temp sensor would have caused such an issue.
    • Hi sorry late reply I didnt get a chance to take any pics (my mechanics on the other side of the city) but the plugs were fouled from being too rich. I noticed the MAF wasn't genuine, so I replaced it with a genuine green label unit. I also swapped in a different ignitor, but the issue remains. I've narrowed it down a bit now: - If I unplug and reconnect the fuel lines and install fresh spark plugs, the car starts right up and runs perfectly. Took it around the block with no issues - As soon as I shut it off and try to restart, it won't start again - Fuel pressure while cranking is steady around 40 psi, injectors have good spray, return line is clear, and the FPR vacuum is working. It just seems like it's getting flooded after the first start I unplugged coolant sensors to see if its related to ECU flooding but that didnt make a difference. Im thinking its related to this because this issue only started happening after fixing coolant leaks and replacing the bottom part of the stock manifolds coolant pipe. My mechanic took off the inlet to get to get to do these repairs. My mechanics actually just an old mate who's retired now so ill be taking it to a different mechanic who i know has exp with RBs to see if they find anything. If you have any ideas please send em lll give it a try. Ive tried other things like swapping the injectors, fuel rail, different fuel pressure regs, different ignitor, spark plugs, comp test and MAF but the same issue persists.
    • My return flow is custom and puts the return behind the reo, instead of at the bottom. All my core is in the air flow, rather than losing some of it up behind the reo. I realise that the core really acts more as a spiky heatsink than as a constant rate heat exchanger, and that therefore size is important.... but mine fits everything I needed and wanted without having to cut anything, and that's worth something too. And there won't be a hot patch of core up behind the reo after every hit, releasing heat back into the intake air.
