no problems at all mate...there arent any deep scratches on the camera. i have had this camera for a while so you cant expect mint prestine condition. i dont want that to deter you from buying this camera and thats why ill be honest with the condition on one side and give you a very reasonable price on the other. the lens has really been taken care of, hence the reason for the lens protector... other than that i would personally consider it in fantastic condition.

as of performance, the camera still works well, never been dropped, shoulder strap always been used, i take care of all my posessions as much as possible.

Thanks for the reply mate.

Im keen to get one of these cameras. they look good and cover everything i want, without being too much. Ofcourse, i understand with all things 2nd hand, you have to expect that it is that, 2nd hand. Never the less, sony items tend to be pretty solid items.

By saying that there are no DEEP scratches, and looking at the price, are you indirectly saying there are light scratches? How come so cheap? do you just wanna off load it?

Sorry for all the questions, but basically im a tight ass! ^.^ cheers

the only scratch i see is a very light surface scratch on the dial and another light one on the lens pop-up... but thats mainly general wear.

i feel that the price set by me is reasonable for selling this item second hand. i am willing to make such a loss.

i basically took 10 different prices that i saw it for brand new and got the average of 970 for the current market price for the camera...and then i shaved 300 off it plainly because its second hand...

i think that price is cheap enough to appeal to buyers and satisfy me at the same time. the extra items are just an added incentive to buy

I can't believe you haven't sold this thing yet, I got mine for 650 second hand and I thought I got a freaking bargain! Plus mine has a big dent in the flash.

Anyway, as a major camera geek, this thing was the object of my lust for a long time. A lot of reviewers have said it's the best 5 mp camera ever, and I have played with many cameras after this one, and I agree. Nothing touches it, it's just perfect.

Also, it's easy to use, go and look at a DSC F828, it is a monster pig to use. It has infra red shooting too - you can make really nifty shots during the day using strange filters and photoshop.

It's indestructible. If you don't mind carrying the thing around, and you like to take AWESOME photos - get it. Imagine going to a car show with this, as opposed to your crappy phone camera. Plug + bump :P

to see the quality of the this camera can do

go to Photography section.

I have taken all my photos with this camera.

this is all rounder camera and more :D

Free bump!!!

thanks for the support fellas... i fell in love with this camera the first time i used it...but as my interest in photography and graphic design increased, the features needed decreased...

love it to bits, but i konw that i will be moving to a camera more suitable to my needs...

someone kick someones arse to buy this camera!

actually, my phone camera is a sony too, k750i.

takes some good shot surprisingly....i bought a 1gig memorystick duo so i can listen to music and have enough room for pictures...the photos that i took up above were done with my 2mp camera phone!

    • Absolute f*cking nightmare. I had to take breaks constantly, and I was always pissed off when I got home. The line split in Italy on day 2 (we drove from the Netherlands), lol. Driving any narrow European town was... well, sh*t.   Appreciate it man. Here, I'll just drop a favourite from the load I took on Saturday.   I'll update here when things happen with the car, the thing is, with stock power and almost everything chassis-wise taken care of, there really are no problems. 268,000kms now and counting.
    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
    • Hey mate,  I have a set, one is slightly damaged but wont be noticable once installed.  Shoot me a message if your still after them
    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
