Driving in Lindfield on the pacific highway in that massive storm when i go to turn into an off street and turn around and go back down.... black r33 was turning onto the highway.... spins 1st.... 2nd..... bit sideways..... gets onto the side of the highway that they wanted.... back comes out....

spins entire car around.... missing a telegraph pole by under a meter.... total 180..... stops for a sec and spins 1st,2nd,3rd trying to get out of the middle of the road... decides to go back where they came from after narrowly missing alot of things and being lucky not to get collected by traffic!!!!!

point of the story is..... either get an abs, traction controlled car (like the one i was driving at the time) or drive REALLY carefully in the rain as things can happen in a split second...

Anything similar happened to anyone???

I'm assuming "1st, 2nd and 3rd" are gears?

If so, then it was hardly an accident that he broke traction, especially the multiple times they did it. I don't think getting an ABS or TCS equipped car will help much, since they're clearly not in the mindset to drive carefully.

Reminds me of that NZ WRX driver who was driving like an idiot and ended up putting it into the telegraph pole. Hopefully when this guy does it, it gets caught on camera and posted on Google video, so the cops can come down on the f**kwit like a ton of bricks.

what else could 1st, 2nd 3rd be? sets of tyres?

in a mind set where you are shitting yourself because you just lost it... traction could help by limiting wheelspin, and therefore increasing grip and making the car actually move forward rather than just sitting there spooling off its head.......

and abs does help in alot of situations...... (i heard you love hitting it down the main straight on wakefield just before the 1st corner... now if you didnt have it then you would be skidding and smoking off the track :D)

it was a pretty close call i must say!

    • Wanna rewrite all of that in, say, 2 or 3 separate sentences, so that we can read it?
    • Just yesterday the car started to shake a bit when idle. So tomorrow ima test the some wires and packs with the multimeter and see what it is. Hopefully is a pack because thats the easiest thing to buy same day here where I live in the USA.
    • shot myself in the leg and now last night I have shaking when I idle lol
    • I'm not a big fan of the Cometic gaskets either, as above the head and deck need to be like a mirror (can't remember the RA) so Kamieri sounds like a good idea.  FWIW a mate of mine hordes old motor stuff and has some blank unground Nizmo cams for one of these in his supply if random shit if you're interested.
