This Low K 1996 car is good for 500+ Hp at the wheels and over 800nm of talk :> is just been finished rebuilt with new motor and forged Aries pistons, new triple plate OS Gekin clutch big injectors fuel pump, drift king height adjuster coil over suspension adjustable camber rods strut brace big front mount cooler 700+ hp high mount turbo Apexi exhaust manifold full 3inch+ HKS super dragster exhaust system, Apexi external waste gate in to 2.5 inch screamer pipe, big oil apexi engin oil cooler kit. Eboost controller and Modified computer lots of gauges and sick body kit and 3 piece rims! Turbo timer and alarm one of best looking cars around demands respect money needed to complete new project car :> $19,500 ono comes with spare S2 motor and Apexi R6 modified turbo needs bearings. What is going on here is this to exspensive the car has had as much spent on it as I am asking for the whole car just about? Come on this car is near new someone must want to make me an offer at least? :< would like to sell this car and get the new project on way peoples :>

The engin was done buy a local engin builder I have just finnshed the first 1000km I took the turbo off for the first 1000km to ensure the engin was run in perfectly am putting it back on this week end and getting it Dynoed buy Doctor Drift in Melbourne he also knows a bit about this car for people wanting to check up on it! I am about to email people some more pics :>

I will get some more info on the injector for you it is setup to run apexi R6 turbo but that needs new barings has a new turbine and housing just needs the barings so I have put just a generic 700+ hp turbo on it to sell it but you get both turbos with the carb I am based in Taralgon the car made 300kw and 800+ Nm of tourqe at the wheels at 14psi that was with less mods and the smaller turbo than it has this time should be dynoed this week with the new motor and gear

      I get you, we’ll see I’m aiming for 200ish kw now and hopefully 300rwkw down the line after some upgrades maybe like headstuds, E85 flex fuel etc  so trying to make it final for that now, I can get a GTT airbox for $280 so it’s not too bad but not sure if there’s better ways to spend that money. I seen online they say pod filter which isn’t enclosed isn’t good especially for a plus T.      hard to say what to do

      Meh. How much power can you make from a +T anyway? I wouldn't have though it would be enough to challenge the airbox. It's not as if it's tiny compared with the turbo one. As to putting a pod in a stock airbox .... it's not the filter element that would be restrictive. It would be the air inlet to the box that would be the narrow point, which you could open up regardless of what element was inside. On my R32 I opened up the sort of triangular opening in the bottom front corner of the box, deformed (heated, moulded) some 4" stormwater pipe to fit to that opening and punched a 4" hole down through the inner guard to the spot where the stock intercooler used to be. This was purely in the search for a cold intake, but you could do something similar if you need to open up the inlet side of it. The AFM tube size is the same for both NA and turbo, so the outlet from the airbox is same same anyway. If you're going to do the right thing, then an aftermarket ECU won't care about the AFM (ie, you can get rid of it). But even if it was still there, people pull >300rwkW through them all day, and I suspect you won't be going there.

      Doing a +T on my car and I’ve read the precious forums lots of mixed reviews from sometime back.  checking if anyone has any ideas for airbox or enclosed pod filter or solutions?  I was thinking stock GTT box but some say it’s restrictive? I seen some people try fit in a pod in the box anyone done that recently?  not any good enclosed options ? Thanks
