Removing R33 Standard Boost Controller?

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if you could help me figure out how to get my t piece vaccum boost controller to work in my r33 gtst. Basically i was told that the standard electronic boost controller cant run at the same time as the manual boost controller without the turbo spiking its head off. I was told the electronic boost controller is the little black box on the left side of the engine bay near the fire wall??? If i simply unplug that and put the manual controller in will it override the electronic controller or is it a more complicated process in disengaging the standard unit?

There's a solenoid off the wastegate feed pipe. Disconnect and put your bleed valve in there instead.
