GTS4-32

I just cleaned mine out, alot easier than i thought...took about 45min for a beginner. Yea i also had troubles putting the idle screw back in, but what i did was unscrew it out, then back in, back n forth pretty much until it found its way back in the hole pretty smoothly. Now my idle sits steadely on 900rpm wen warmed up. Great DIY Insu, solved my stalling issue.

Yea, when i fire it up i have to rev it to about 2,500rpm and lay it down slow, then it sets itself up, idles at about 1,200rpm for a lil while like u said, then after a couple mins drops to its normal revs at about 800-900rpm. But its the starup that annoys me, like i sed i have to pump the gas to start it when cold. Otherwise it wont turn over. I know it may sound stupid to you guys but where would i find the engine temp sensor on my car? I wouldnt mind cheking it out aswell.

Yea i was planning too take it into somewhere to have it checked out. Well the spark plugs have been changed recently and i dont smell fuel when i start it. Everything seems fine. I thought id ask here first before taking it in, just incase you guys could help me out with solutions. Thanks for your inputs so far though Jared. Steve.

Sorry forgot to mention the battery is brand new and reads at about 13.4 when started. So its definatly not the battery. Thats why im asking what else it could be. As i said the previous owner belived it to be an electrical fault, but where would i look to fix this problem?

Hey guys, im driving a r32 gts4 and have problems starting the car when its cold, it struggles to start on its own. I have to pump it gas a couple times until it starts. The previous owner had told me, that he was told it was an electrical fault. I thought id ask here before i go anywhere first to have it chekd out. Can anyone help me out and explain what i should be looking at or if anyone could solve the problem? Would be much appreciated. Thanks Steve.

Hey guys just wondering if anyone has had any problems with there wiring with 4wd - 2wd cross-over switch. I drive a r32 gts-4 and bought the car recently with the switch. The owner mentioned it didnt work but could be resolved if taken to a wiring joint. Just wondering if anyone has encounterd this problem before or have any views on how to resolve it DIY style. Eg. Where the wiring should connect to, etc? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Steve.

Thanks brad, yea well the previous owner told me all this, you may have dealt with him yourself, his name's Vinny with the gun-metal grey gts-4 with gtr kit....apparently you know him and his car well. He told me exactly what i wrote earlier on according to you blokes. But yea, its a good idea to get it inspected once again, for myself and have the right parts replaced correctly. The info you just gave me though clears it up better for my understanding of the situation, so thanks again.

Hey guys, just recently bought a R32 GTS4 and am having problems with the rear diff. Its a whining noise that seems to get louder the more the speed increases. Chasers Motorworks have had a look with the previous owner and it came down to the center diff; R200 Short Nose. (same as gtr, also found in other cars). To be more specific, what he told me was that i need to retain the crown wheel + uni joint, in order to maintain the right ratio. I have been quoted $300 for the part that needs to be replaced. If anybody has a spare R200 Short Nose laying around, let me know asap with a price and we can take it from there. Thanks, Steve.

hey guys, i need help with my demo version. Ive been through teh technical support all day from the gtr2 forums etc but nothing has seemed to help. I was jus curious if anyone here would possibly no anyway to fix it. my problem is, when im finished with all the settings in the game i press continue to start the race, and then the map appears and as the wording starts to load to the letter "c" it closes the game completely. Ive been hanging to play this game bad, any help from you guys that know, would be much appreciated. Thanx.
